What's crazy is, there's only two instances in the persona series where the butterfly flat out dies. ...And both of them involve P5. Something tells me the actions of the far past (P1/2) are becoming more and more relevant
I think it calls back to Philieom having the same face as tastyu in Persona 2 and therefore the butterflies are the protagonists themselves in future games. The gift of Philieom to them is their own butterfly
Q's was nightmare fuel when I first saw it. Those eyes staring into your soul. Q2's is just depressing to me, since Philemon is basically pleading for the player to keep fighting... only for the curtain to draw to a close.

Q2 should've been followed by the long ass cutscenes and battles before Kamoshidaman, because Atlus decided NOT to update the engine and thus made replaying that shit OBNOXIOUS AS ALL FUCK!
i legit want the P3-style game over screens in P4 now, after comparing them. the P4 one is so plain and long with the scrolling text and i always skip it lol
the Playstation 1 version is a bit more harder, not super hard or anything but isn't too easy like the psp one, i recommend you try it. Currently i am playing Revelations:Persona and the thing is similar, the ps1 versions aren't so easy

I Fucking Love when Everyone gets wiped out and She only cares that Yu died and the Rest of the Party can just Piss off 🤣 My Favorite is definitely when Yukino died in Persona 1 and she said oh no when she died. Then in Eternal Punishment when Nanjo dies i've played it multiple times being the second Persona game I have most experience in with Persona 3 being the first. That death scene literally never stops being funny ever time I've seen it

That last one in PQ2 felt like a call back to Persona 2's game over's with Philemon encouraging you to keep going.

I tried playing persona 2 innocent sin (story was great but god i hated the combat so i stopped) and jeez that game is too easy. It's easier than p5r
