I LOVE that semi realism style, I like it so much better than the hyper-anime style a lot of people use to illustrate vocaloid... Miku is my favourite and it took me a long time to come to terms with that because she's so popular... and I'm honestly a bit of a hipster lol, but really she's just so good!!! She deserves it!!!
I’ve always wondered how artists use and angle the camera for these kinds of videos. I’ve been wanting to do something similar but I don’t know where to start. You’re my fav watercolor artist on TH-cam btw. I’m learning but I’m hesitant to paint cuz I’m scared I’ll ruin the drawing lol

Hello!! I looove how this turned out, and I especially love how the softer edges ended up having an almost like, gritty texture?? Was that from the paper, or was it more like granulation from the watercolors? I'm so glad that you painted Miku! She's honestly such a fun character to paint lol

Hey, sorry I’m not the creator but I feel like I may be able to help ( I doubt you’re still having problems after a year, though) . I used to have this problem too until I switched to semi-decent paper ( I use Strathmore 400 Cold press and Saunders Bockingford, not awfully expensive.) If you cannot afford new paper however I would recommend erasing your sketch until it is very faint and layering thin washes.
I don’t mind the outside noises I think it builds ambiance honestly. And your art is beautiful as always 🥺💕💗✨✨

I have Hahnemühle paper but the water always dwells it up so the texture gets frizzy. But maybe that is just me hating watercolour texture

It happens because she didn't let the layers dry causing the colours to bleed, but sometimes paper can be a factor.
