The people advertising this as “new” stuff for watercolour and making money off it is such a 200 IQ move 😭 meanwhile I just searched up “sewing water washable marker” and indeed I found one for $3 off Amazon lmao. Thank you Waes for sharing your wisdom, I didn’t have to travel to Japan to get a cool new art supply this time 😌
This is amazing because I love making my underdrawings with marker and I have some of these markers in my sewing kit. You're like Prometheus bringing magic markers to mankind.
How many of my grandma’s sewing markers accidentally got turned into art supplies as a child is unreal, and here as an adult I’d COMPLETELY forgotten these markers existed
Yeah, I don't think a lot of people know about the water/air markers cus until Huta mentioned it, I hadn't recalled another artist mentioning it in all the years I've been watching art videos. It was a really interesting hack. I did have to buy some of those markers after her video, but I have yet to use them myself. I'm glad you are spreading the word for some of our fellow artists. AND your painting turned out lovely ❤
Glad I found this vid when I did ‘cuz I NEVER heard of water erasable markers, only pens/highlighters like that. So seeing how easily you removed the marker ink made me look for the pens online while watching this (found some that were 1$ per pen on Temu). As someone who likes sketching with colored fineliners this is a game changer for me knowing that there’s a way to remove those lines after inking, thank you so much for showing this! 🤗💖✨
Aw, Waes, I hope you get well from your mental health, I'm struggling with that myself and I know it's tough. Thank you for sharing your art and a bit of yourself with us, too! Be safe! 💜
the drawing is gorgeous!! and the commentary was also entertaining! as someone with no knowledge or experience in watercolor, watching these videos is like watching a magic show lol
I watch that artist's videos and i was actually wondering if those water erasable markers for sewing would work similarly. Thanks to this video I now have the answer ❤. Gonna buy a couple from my craft store now.
Loved the video!! The voiceover was really nice, it was calm, cute, fun and friendly overall, just as you said! And the drawing was super cute too 💕💕 + watching you use the erasable marker and watercolors (just the whole drawing process in general) was really satisfying ^^ Sending love from a long time fan
OMG it’s been so long since I’ve seen your channel :0 Edit: OH MY GOSH!!! I need to buy this asap! Thank u for contributing your knowledge to poor little artists like me. The art came out SUPER PRETTY! I love how you shaded the hair :) this video was very calming a felt like a hang out with & old friend! Tyty :D Edit to my edit: OH MY OH MY GOD! Another NWJNS FAN!!! We are besties noww :D
Just wanna say that you absolutely inspired my art journey as I was young and I loved binge watching all your “draw with me”(s) thank you so so much!!!
The chokehold New Jeans has on me is unmeasurable. I don't really listen to kpop anymore, but their music and style blinded me. Didn't think I'd be much into girly y2k stuff until I randomly watched their OMG mv
Don’t worry waes, I actually found out about the use of these markers for watercolours through Huta Chan as well xD I also really love these style unscripted of videos! ^^
Thanks for sharing the info, the other day I saw one of Huta-chan shorts where they used this marker and I was disappointed to find out that it was a tool only available in Japan but now I know I could try my luck the next time I go to a sewing shop! ^^
DONT DO THIS WITH CRAYOLA WATER ERASEABLE MARKERS ON PAPER IT WILL NOT WORK BUT ITS GREAT ON FABRIC!!!!! ALSO IM SO GLAD IM SEEING A POST OF YOURS AGAIN!!!!
I've used the friction highlighters for watercollor sketches, and they pretty much disappear when water is applied. I haven't tried it with normal friction pens, and I'm also not sure if they leave some type of residue that might worsen the colours, etc
Im so happy that you started posting videos again! To be honest i was a bit worried you wouldn't post on youtube anymore⊙﹏⊙ Anyways, i love your videos and they always inspire me to draw, your artstyle is really pretty and you're one of my biggest inspirations like ever :)
Já comprei uma caneta dessas nas lojas da daiso aqui no Brasil, curti muito o resultado, mas tem que usar bastante água, para não ficar marcas azuladas no desenho depois de pintar com aquarela
i think the reason no one thought to use the sewing one is because fabric and paper are a bit different so people probably just thought "oh it might not come out of the paper". or just leave a lighter version behind.
I just opened youtube, I saw this on my feed and I was like "ooh the style is cute.. oh I'm early! 26 mins ago! ...oh it's milkywaes I know her--" I literally didn't realize it was you, lol 😭 edit: also I thought u didn't post anymore

I bought a cheap one off Amazon! It's super handy. 😅I think Huta-chan introduced EVERYONE to this magical marker. ✨
@@desp_d006Search “Water soluble Marking Pen, Blue” and it should be the closest to the pen that Huta-Chan is using

Oh, when I saw Huta’s video, I thought it was some watercolor paint that they were just lifting with water, thanks for clearing that up 👍

I know *exactly* what video you're talking about! I was wondering the same thing, thank you so much 🫶🏻
Trust me when I say if there's something that can be learned then most people don't know about it.

I actually found it in JoAnn’s Fabrics in the US! I’m assuming it’s easier to wash off than a white pencil
I actually had no idea it was used for sewing before I went 😅 I was just glad I found it without needing to spend money for shipping from Japan
I lov being early, your art is so cool and I wish to draw like you!❤
I really miss your videos love you 💜

As someone who does sew and embroider, I would have never thought to use my fabric marker for my watercolors
omg thank you for this I saw that video too and couldn't find it again I've been searching for the name of that marker everywhere.

Hi 👋
I pray that God will help you get better with your mental health🙏🏾 God's got you and Jesus loves you!🫂💓💗🤗
BRAZIL NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOO
With my luck, I’d need to “erase” so much the paper would buckle beyond use before I even got the sketch right 😂
