Thank you SO much for this! I can’t express how much you changed drawing as a whole for me for the past few years. I’ve been having so much more fun with it all thanks to your videos! You’re such an inspiration to me and many others! ❤❤❤
omg.... this warms my heart so much :,,) im really honoured to be able to help you with my crusty advice :,,,) Thank you thank you thank you!! for being here and giving me a platform!!
The way you explained this helped me better understand why we break shapes down into basic circles and squares. This was very helpful to me as an artist, you’re style inspires me so much and I find your are so beautiful, so thank you for this ^u^
yayy im glad! i know it can be confusing when everyone tells you to break stuff down into basic shapes but deep down, you have no idea why you have to do it?? hehe so im glad this could help you understand it better!
I like that without taking professional courses or fancy stuff, I've come to the same conclussions great artists like you show in these kinds of videos. Maybe I don't learn something completely new to me, but it does reafirm my approach and make me more confident in my process. Really practice is key
Ngl, I love that u still have old videos up, because seeing how you had a different style is kinda refreshing? I remember watching your older stuff and now seeing this video pop up and saw a familiar name, I was like “Oh hey, this is different!”
This made me feel so much better about my process (it's basically the same lol) and that it's valid and being able to just make a face immediately in its final form isn't better than needing guidelines to build off of. Also you made it make sense to me why I prefer using super thick lines to start haha I always knew I did but never thought about why
wow!! I'm only half way through, following along and I'm already shook by the results!! keeping it vague and loose in the beginning is a game changer!!
ahh, i was early to this video!! what bliss... just in time, i have been struggling with constructing faces for a good while now!! your videos are a great watch, whenever, wherever. thank you for sharing 💗
omg i really hope this can help you then!! I realized that many people struggle with drawing pretty facial structures, so I thought maybe.. maybe my process can help one or two people??
I just found this channel, and even though this isnt the art style im aiming for, this definately helped me stylize my work more, and this seems way more realistic than other tutorials! Thank you so much, my art has gotten 100x better now!
Curitibano aqui. Eu achei MUITO engraçado quando o carro do sonho passou em 29:23 😂 Meu deus, ele tá até nos vídeos da Waes agora, um clássico da cidade kkkk
ah, ive always started out with a vague sketch like you, but never really thought of thinning down those lines haha so i struggled a lot with the thickness of my initial sketch. thanks for sharing your process!
Wow o.o This helps me so much ^^ i understand more stuff about this program that i did before lol 😂 The tips does help a lot. Thanks so much for making this video 😀
I loooooved watching you draw all the different types of faces you did!! I appreciate you going out of your comfort zone to show us your process!! I can't wait for your next video!!
JKDGNKAJDFH i totally feel you, but in the traditional version, I try not to erase too much actually, if at all! I start with the guidelines as very faint and light lines, and slightly build contrast up from the strength of my pencil lines! So, from line darkness: base guidelines > sketchy features > better defined features > complexity up!
I've never seen anyone who doesn't start with a circle as a head shape😭😭Like, a box does not stick right with me, and ovals are similar to circles, so same thing
