Masterforce was so underrated...still pretty disappointed the Japanesse stuff never got dubs in the West...Headmasters was so good I just pretend "The Rebirth" never happened.
In us this would be a good sequel series to the movie humans use the fallen transformers as transectors. And at some point a new episode where Rodimus showed up and used the matrix to give them all life again.

They are Hydra and Buster...when they combine their vehicle modes they form Darkwings... The US toys were Dreadwind and Darkwing and when they combined they formed Dreadwing...it can be inferred from the story in Masterforce that the transtectors that Hydra and Buster used were intended to be new bodies for Dreadwind and Darkwing, before they were stolen, they never appeared in the cartoons, though, kind of like GIga and Mega used the Overlord transtector which was a body meant for Gigatron.
