    Jonathan gave me a world where I could build a home that lasted longer than any apartment I've lived in, until my hard drive failed for separate reasons and I lost much of it as I had not kept up with backups.
    I've spent 1000 hrs soon. Much of it with a close friend. We've started a new save for Ashlands. We turned off raids this time, and gave ourselves the ability to build for free.
    I have a lot of love for this man, his team, and his odd beautiful game.

    Ty so much for the world modifiers. I play on multiple servers; some set hard, some normal, some days on my personal server set to passive enemies when I just want to build after a bad rl day. It has helped sooo much.

    I can't express this enough, but thank you so so much Iron Gate Studio's. I have been gaming for over 20 years and have played 100s of games, but Valheim is my favorite game of all time. 1500 hours in and I still can't get enough of it. I look forward to it every single weekend. Literally the best $20 I have ever spent. Don't let all the stubborn haters get to you guys. You made a masterpiece of a game and you know it! Keep up the hard work and stay true to your vision!

      +1 Time Consuming Inventory Management is something that has more and more become a reason for me not to (re)play or buy a game. Sorting chests and transporting cargo over and over again ... I did this too often in too many games (the recent Diablo IV update shows that I'm not alone with this). Generous inventory sizes are always a plus point for me. Where are the upgradeable deer backpacks and the carry-all food? 😅😅

    These developers are just straight up LIARS. They said "releasing on Xbox wont affect development", then in this video "yea multiplatform took time and a lot of work". They said "we added bats in a single day" and then took 1.5 years to do anything even close to that level of productivity. "spending time getting merch done" then telling us working on merch doesnt affect the dev speed. "we are a small team" when they are 14 entire individuals. There seems to be no real developer structure here, no direction, no actual commitment to being a game company. They have literally divested into making everything except the game. No focus on optimization, no competency in listening to feedback.
    A speaker that doesnt have any certainty in what they are saying, half of their points are indecisive and uncertain. Just feeding falsities into the PR machine. "Do people like this game?" after making 12 million sales. Like, stop treating us like idiots. So tired of this company and their blase attitude.

    • @hirourk
      @hirourk หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Here is the solution for you - don't play it. You don't like that they don't have the structure? Well, they are making a game as they want, and it works. And it's still in early access, but you treat it as if it was a full game. The audacity to tell them what they should do is wild

    • @NZMPlays
      @NZMPlays หลายเดือนก่อน

    basically, from what i see, they been really lazy all these years. The bat is something they made in a day in put in?
    I made this feedback before and got banned from their discussion thread for pointing that they blew all their animation budget for hearth and home trailer and give us some wood furniture here and there. The game's barren but good to a degree but the level of laziness these guys have is off the charts.

      @@Bassalicious I agree it shouldn't be easier but more respectful of my time. Instead of artificially lengthening the game they should encourage creativity to solve the problems they present vs go to the place, mine 3 hours and bring it back. • @Bassalicious

      @@themalmana It's really a matter of taste but I get your pov. I enjoy resource gathering and having to think about logistics personally. I like feeling like I worked for what I have but I get that it can feel like chores.
      There's mods for infinite carry weight and easier stamina management or even infinite stamina if you so desire. Set portals to allow ore in the world settings in addition and away you go.
