I’ve known my sexuality my whole life and it always burdened me. I had really bad internalized homophobia from age 10-16ish. I was 17 when this show came out, and I “came out” at 19, 18-19. It’s a process and not just a one time thing. I had tried coming out before to my mother, but she was in denial/and or tried to tell me I wasn’t gay and I was “fine”. Because of course the opposite of homosexual is “fine”, right? Yeah. I ended up being in a situation sooo similar to Santana and Brit’s at the same time it aired. Like uncanny. And long story short, it helped me gain this new level of confidence in myself that I never had before. I’m so thankful for this being a thing. I was obsessed with Naya for a few years after this. .... RIP Naya. I love you 💕 Just had a flashback of writing fa mail. I’ve been wondering if I actually took the time to do that. Later on she asked Santana to talk about their situation and feelings for eachother and finally Santana tells her how she really feels but Brittany rejects her cause she's too nice to just dump Artie but tbh why stay with someone if you love someone else? So yes Santana was upset because Brittany was the one who brought the topic up and now she got an answer and still rejected her after everything.
