This scene kinda made it hard for me to empathize with her when Finn outed her in the next season. She used his sexuality as blackmail over him. We saw season 3 and how Dave tried to commit suicide after he was outed at his new school. What if Santana actually did out him, and he committed suicide because of her? As someone who was in the closet herself, she should've known just how _devastating_ it could have been to be outed. And she did that to get Kurt at McKinley to have a shot at nationals, win prom queen and potentially Brittany. Just because she didn't do it doesn't mean she didn't plan to, and she didn't do it not because of the kindness of her heart but because David did her bidding. But people hail her for this, "yeah she sassy, what a power move" That being said, Finn shouldn't have outed her, and definitely not in that crowded hallway. jayda huntley obviously it doesn’t change what Finn did because that was awful, but Santana was fully prepared to do the same to Dave if he didn’t do what she said. Whilst not as bad as actually outing him, that’s far more manipulative than what Finn did
She threatened him, so what? She did it to help him keep up appearances and get Kurt back. She never was going to do it since she outed herself to Dave. Mutually assured destruction, anyone? That was the point. However, Finn did it because he wanted to hurt her. He even said it to Rory right before he outed her. Also, why isn’t Kurt getting heat for blackmailing Dave? I know it's been a long time and no one cares about Glee now, but watching this from now, in my mid gay 25, i can say : Santana's behaviour in this scene is, at least, problematic, at worst, frankly horrible. She's going to blackmail someone who clearly has immense issues with his sexuality for a meaningless and useless "prom queen" shit, torturing him about faking being in a relationship with her (as he secretly must hate her) and she's even talking about a miserable depressing life he may have in the future as he can't come out Bro people including me used to find this hilarious as kids. Now i just think this is fucked up
Everybody wants to talk shit about how Finn outed Santana, but nobody wants to talk about how Santana threatened to out Dave if he didn't play along with her plan. She threatened to ruin another persons life by outing him just so she can be seen as some sort of hero in Glee Club and win prom queen?! Finn outing Santana wasn't right - but he tolerated so much shit from her that he snapped back, he retaliated. There were other ways to bring back Kurt to Glee Club, but how she went about it was evil and so bad.
I just started this show and really enjoying it. Sometimes the music gets on my nerves, and sometimes it's great, but it's the surrounding stories are I'm watching it for. This show got me laughing and crying. Sue and Brittney are my favourite characters so far and I love Santana, I hope Brit and her can work things out.❤❤❤❤.
Okay, I love Santana but she shouldn’t have threatened to out Dave. It’s a very scary feeling and now that she has experienced it, I hope she realizes she shouldn’t have threatened him. I’m glad she didn’t do it but I hated her when she did that. The look of hurt on Dave’s face was just so sad. I don’t like Dave but he didn’t deserve to feel that amount of fear. But she did tell Dave she was a lesbian so she gave him an advantage.
Not that deep she didn’t even end up outing him. Every character on Glee has done something much worse. I mean Dave himself literally physically bullied & was homophobic to Kurt
Honestly I love Santana so much, especially when she said "Only strait I am is strait up bitch" but I do hate that there is such a double standard for outing someone. When Fin does it we are all expected to hate him for that, but when Santana threatens to do that it's just Santana being Santana. Like wtf
I guess people are less likely to give sympathy to Karofsky who literally threatened Kurt’s life and chased him out of the school than Santana who was pretty much just chillin with her secret that only the glee club knew until Finn decided to use it as a low blow to win an argument
Y’all are complaining a lot Santana getting outed by Finn but being gay Is way different for girls if a girls gay it’s a turn on for a lot of guys if a guy is gay he suddenly isn’t a human and is some sort of other creature smh

You should watch the final season. They seriously brought out the talent for that one, as well as the comedy. Utterly worth it.
I know it's Sam and being weird is just how he works, but I find it so weird and funny when he just slams his folder in the water fountain at 0:28.
Thanks Naya... Thanks Queen. We love u
OK BUT
Did anyone ever notice the woman in the back at 0:50 drop her EMPTY cup 😂😂
Santana is amazing you can't change my mind
Oh santana, how I hate you just as much as I love you
everyone literally ignores that santana was going to out him but when finn does it hes the bad guy
At least Santana gave him a heads up.
She would've never actually done it, she also told him she was gay so he also could've outed her
Max Adler is so dammed pretty.
Lowkey😁😊
I love her so much it hurts
"I'm a closet lesbian and a judgmental bitch, which means one thing: I have awesome gaydar"
From now on, I will be using this phrase religiously.
I miss this show.
I love when Santana says ‘like that’s any less gay’
Santana would do anything just to get Brittany to be with her, WOW! She really loves her
This is why I love Santana
Okay, I love Santana but she shouldn’t have threatened to out Dave. It’s a very scary feeling and now that she has experienced it, I hope she realizes she shouldn’t have threatened him. I’m glad she didn’t do it but I hated her when she did that. The look of hurt on Dave’s face was just so sad. I don’t like Dave but he didn’t deserve to feel that amount of fear. But she did tell Dave she was a lesbian so she gave him an advantage.
Same. I loved Naya, but I absolutely hated Santana until later seasons.
@@misspriss2482 I think we all hated Santana at first but ended up loving her.
i love santana, i don't understand why people hate her, lol, every glee character has at least one annoying bad side.
Noah Solomon because she was a bully.🤦♀️
Noah Solomon even Mike
not kurt, lmao he's an angel. and when or if he did something wrong, he apologized for it and made up for it.
R. I. P santana :(
Please don't speak to soon they are still looking for her there is still hope that she might be alive
@@chocolatemalteezzer7200 Confirmed they found her. R.I.P.
Dude, Santana is one of my favorite characters.
She blackmailed a fellow gay student about outing him and people in the comments are like, "She's so fierce." lmao
Not that deep she didn’t even end up outing him. Every character on Glee has done something much worse. I mean Dave himself literally physically bullied & was homophobic to Kurt
"The only straight I am is a straight up b*tch."
*I want this hung up on my wall*
Santana: only straight I am is straight up bitch
I love that line
So me!
SO THIS IS WHERE "the only straight i am is a straight up" CAME FROM
Honestly I love Santana so much, especially when she said "Only strait I am is strait up bitch" but I do hate that there is such a double standard for outing someone.
Does anybody know the piano sound around 0:31?
zel it sounds like the G note
When I was a young boy my father took me into the cut to see a marching band
Santana is a bitch, that's why I love her
Y’all are complaining a lot Santana getting outed by Finn but being gay Is way different for girls if a girls gay it’s a turn on for a lot of guys if a guy is gay he suddenly isn’t a human and is some sort of other creature smh
"The only straight I am is a straight up bitch"!
I am guilty of using that line too many times.
''the only straight i am is straight up bitch.'' Santana i love u so much
“I’m a closet lesbian and a judge mental bitch.. Which only means one thing.. *I have AWSOME gay dar* ... -SANTANA MF LOPEZ
"Then I'm gonna tell everyone about you and your life will be over."
Oops. Foreshadowing much?
