As the world's most famous Bono impersonator, I travel extensively and get to share some Bono and U2 love with many wonderful people and fans alike. Having heard the look alike comments for 45 years now, there was a time when I just had to make an opportunity to see where this would go. I was already performing on acoustic guitar around town and singing oodles of cover tunes as well as some U2 songs, my father died in 2001 and the world came crashing down. He was the most decent man I've ever met who dedicated his entire life to keeping his family of 11 children fed and stable.
I started a U2 tribute band and life as a professional Bono impersonator started to enfold. In 2008, I was ask by Vogue magazine to double for Bono himself. They were doing a series where he was on 3 of their covers.
Since then I've traveled lots of the world, fronted U2 tribute bands and been on many tv shows, films and in magazines and newspapers.
This one shows I've done recently. The nicest people on the show. It was an Argentine group that's popular all over latin America. Have a fun moment.
