Being an old school mechanic, I actually prefer the metal after market sway bar link in this video over the plastic ones General Motors uses at the factory.
I thought you were going to tighten the rear control arms when they were under load? 6:37? I understood that as "with the weight of the truck on them." Great video, I appreciate it..
I have 07 New Body Engine code "y" with a 7.5 RCX lift and I have a bad sqeaking noise from both sides and i am wanting to know if its the lower A Arm bushings? The ball joints are shot so do you think replacing them would be a good idea? Ive already replaced the sway bar links and the front struts.
WARNING!!!! READ THIS COMMENT!!!!!! TRQ I love you guys but there’s a crucial error made in both of your control arm videos. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE HUB OR TAKE THE STRUT OUT. Otherwise you will separate your CV axle like I did or the parts will not line up right even if you somehow manage to not separate the axle!!!!!

Excellent video
How did you manage to remove rear bolt without removing sway bar. My sway bar is interfering with the removal of my rear bolt
Great video!!! Thank you.

You gotta grease that new lower ball joint?
Do any of these nuts need thread lock?
