this is a level 4 skill beyond most beginners. but i have been trying it anyway. it is a huge strain on my elbows. i think stage 3 is transitioning to a front lever and using the momentum of your back swing to go over the bar. thrusting your hips to the bar is using your back and arms to straighten your body into a front lever so you can transition to a lat pull down.
Yeah I can do them pretty easy but when i went to college (Sports Education) my professor wanted to see some swinging muscle ups and it tooked me a while to learn the technic to do it wtf #gymnastics sucks

Yes, I think so. However cleanest muscle up does not uses swing at all and is purely strength, so at the end of the day you have to practive explosive strength the most.

Pain is never a good thing: don't push beyond pain when doing exercise. Recover, and take it easy next time.
It's because you really shouldn't listen to the push with your arms advice. This move is about technique, not about strenght, it's about momentum.
I get kinda irritated when I try it cause I can do like ten muscle ups but non dynamic muscle ups
