Yes I’ve got one planned!! I’m going to do one with just a list of things to take and then abit closer to summer I’m going to do a physical pack with me and show you what I’m taking xx

No problem!! 🤍honestly there’s sooo many camps in the states, I’m biased and will always say my camp is the best 🤣 if you have Instagram I can send you the link for my camp on there if you want to have a look? Xx
This video has been super helpful. I am actually currently looking at going to Tyler Hill Camp so I found this as a perfect time. I just wanted to ask as you said that you are not allowed your phones with you as they are in lockers. On your rest periods are you able to go to the lockers and use them to check in with home and stuff?
Yes of course! Camp just obviously want you to be as engaged with the kids as possible, but whenever you have some time to yourself you can always check in with home x
@@victoriawhitehouse704 Ahh yeah, I completely get that. It's just a bit daunting not knowing when you are able to contact home when needed. But that's cleared that up thanks! Also, I want to work as a photography counsellor teaching if that's possible. with roles where you are teaching what sort of training do they give you? Are there daily lesson plans or activity plans that you follow? and are you teaching alongside other staff or by yourself? xx
@@lydiabird4675 so with photography at my camp you could either teach photography or you would be a camp photographer! It’s a really cool position at camp and it’s not too structured at all x
@@victoriawhitehouse704 Yeah I was looking into more teaching cause I want to be more involved with the kids. I just don't really know what to expect. Thank you for answering my questions, has been helpful to hear from someone who has worked at the camp I'm interested in! xx
@@lydiabird4675 no problem at all! Camp will always give you the right amount of training and experience before needing to start work anyway!! Xx
I'm planning to go in 2023 when do you suggest applying?
I’d start applying as soon as! I’m pretty sure you can select which year you’d be going to camp. If not I’d apply august/September time
I’m so worried my passport hasn’t arrived so I’m not even at the ready to hire stage yet, will the 15th of January be too late if my passport arrives then
No not at all! Some people apply as late as April/May

same situation here actually im getting my passport on the 15th of january aswell and i was weary
