@@j-porter. U wud not believe, today whilst trying without success, to convert an inserted .dwg with Microvellum, of letters I had to CNC program out of 19mm veneer 2.7m x 0.82 Vertical sign. As the lines where splines. I tried splinedit, pedit, making solid then subtracting, regions, these letters which spelt "GROUNDFLOOR" a logo, wud end up been small multilines in which the CAD optimization just crashed with 1 letter. So I just had trace with 3point curves & lines. BUT, uncanningly, J 4 join & overkill was just what I needed to speed that up a little. Imagine, the joining I required with the oval like radii I had to recreate. I also set up SHORTCUT HOT keys for MV in the customise. PG file. Only watched that from a Microvellum TH-cam tho full Autocad features. Only 4 mths with MV at new job. Worked with Cabinet vision for past 7years. Cheers.
Quite right, did not know these useful commands. Awesome. Forever PEDIT & Joining. No more.
Lance, I'm happy to hear this helped reduce some key strokes. Thanks for watching.
