- I know that I haven't upload many Grounded videos, but I thought I'd show off some of what I've mastered since I started playing in New Game+. So here is my build that I use to fight the disgustingly devilish, dangerously demonic Infected Broodmother.

I wanted to point out something that I hadn't noticed until just recently. This goes for any infused creature, not just the Infected Broodmother. If you are hit by the Spicy Spell, you can strangely perfect block the sizzle damage.
yo nice video. it was very descriptive which really helped to understand how to use the build. i’m gonna try this build later. thanks
You got it! Glad it helped!
Thank u much I have been using the same exact build except with the fire ant gear but I aren't in new game+ yet I will probably switch over to thorns once it starts to get rough
I use the strategist armor on infused hedge broodmother and it doesn’t do as much damage even though she directly hits them
Yeah... unfortunately. This build used to be a lot better, but there was a patch back at the beginning of May that reduced summon thorns damage from 50% to 25%.
Bro this boss is crazier than any dark souls boss 😂
Real!😂😂😂
Personally if never fought the infected broodmother in ng+ or in the main game. But i feel like this is the true final boss of grounded LOL.
It absolutely is. But it is also my favorite in terms of design and mechanics.
Easier than you think
I personally believe if you don't have the blaster you're missing out on one of the best weapons in the game...
@@tebobo7051 It's an okay weapon. It receives way more hype than it deserves.
@tebobo7051 it’s more for utility
you actually have to constantly attack
Wtf is grounded even anymore... I remember before the game officially finished and the strongest thing in it was the brood mother and I had a 45-minute battle with her in which I ran out of health pots... She screamed and aggroed a bee stuck in the ceiling which then promptly came to my rescue and wiped her out as I was crying that there was nothing I could do and at that time that was the most epic thing I could think would ever come of this game....
What ain the ever-loving crap was that?!?!?
This, my friend, is a new breed of terror. The queen of spiders has been lost to the volatile fungus coursing through her veins, taking over what's left of her. The more it spreads, the more dangerous she becomes. And all you can do is cower in fear as you huddle in the corner, holding out your shield, just hoping that this disgusting demon will show you a single ounce of mercy.
Maybe you said this, but what difficulty is this in?
I did not mention it. I'm playing on medium. I'm not one of those "hardcore" players. I actually play the game for enjoyment. XD
@@pureadhd Perfect, thanks. I also play for enjoyment lol.
@@pureadhdyou say hard-core players but I also play for fun and many others I know aswell but we do so on woah mode. While sure some of woah takes a little too much skill... imo ALL of normal takes 0 skill.... I beat thru undershed with a level 5 red any club and no it wasn't hard... normal is just way to easy and takes no actual skill making it boring and NOT enjoyable to some players as enjoyment to some can mean different things. So to act like its just hard-core players that do not play for enjoyment doing woah mode is ignorant as fuck my guy lol good video but that statement is a bit ignorant
@kimleno2 yeah my bad. I put hardcore in quotes because it was my way of talking about the players who play for the EXTREME challenge. I'm not saying they're truly hardcore. I mean, fuck I play on medium difficulty and I still sometimes die to black widows and hell even the occasional green shield bug if I'm not prepared for it.
Can you make a video using the other ant queen armors against the infected broodmother?
I would, but the whole point of using the Red Strategist Set is that the Sleek effect has Summon Thorns, the most important part of this build. The other Ant Queen sets don't have summon thorns as their sleek effect.
@@pureadhd I know but I usually don't see the other sets in action.
@DiveBombRebel Right. But the thing is, this build is designed specifically for dealing lots of thorns damage to bosses. Unfortunately, the other armor sets wouldn't be as effective. Also, I'm working on a video of me completing all of the MIX.Rs in New Game+ 4.
@@pureadhd You don't have a cone that has summon crit instead of summon thorns? Also I would say the MIX.R are so not worth it in NG+. The raw science rewards don't scale up while the enemy count increases.
@DiveBombRebel I use the cone with summon thorns because that, along with the armor set, gives me 4 stacks of the thorns damage. I also got an infused dagger with summon thorns in NG+4, so now I have 5 stacks of thorns damage. And yes, I know that it's not worth it. I just like the challenge, and I'm also a completionist.
How you get science cone?
Science Cones drop randomly from certain creatures and more commonly from infused creatures. The higher your new game+, the higher chance you have of a creature dropping one. The effects, however are completely random and can't be changed.
Imma be honest
I don't feel the same feeling when fighting IBM before
She feels like the black widow but with more health
Idk abt you
Ur not wrong
But then again, the BW doesn't have multiple phases 😂
@@pureadhd
Real 😅🤝
@MR_Sandwich175 I also started NG+4 yesterday, and I got an infused dagger with summon thorns on it from the Broodmother, so this build just got a bit more... interesting 😈😂 I was able to kill the Mantis in like 30 seconds with it😂😂😂
@@pureadhd
LOL 😂
That's insane
why use the red strategist over the fire one?
As I explained in the video, the Sleek effect of each armor piece is Summon Thorns, giving me 3 stack of that effect. Add my Science cone on top of that, and I get 4 stacks. Each summon thorns effect reflects 25% damage back to attackers meaning the IBM receives 100% thorns damage.
@@pureadhd ohhh mb
@@lol_itsxmas8472 It's all good😂 To be honest, a lot of how this build is designed is from Cdiinky.
I 100% the game in a few days idk why ppl ng+ past 1 guess its for challenge
Honestly, for me, it was the infused weapons. They are a massive game changer.
What kind of attack is that 6:33 😂
Ah yes... The good ol' unblockable 5-hit combo
3rd phase attacks are too much faster for me 😢
If you need some help slowing her attacks, you can use either the Sleek termite armor, the rusty spear or the giddy goop trinket. All of these provide a -Attack Speed debuff to enemies.
I can only get to the second faze on normal not new game +
It is quite difficult. One tip from me is to use the Fungal Charm for phases 2 and 3. It gives you the same explosive resist as the science cone I'm using in the video. Also, use a highly upgraded mint mace. Yes, it's slow, but the damage it puts out to the IBM makes it a decent weapon.
@@pureadhd I have only been playing for like two months and I’m still kind of confused on the stuff I haven’t even killed the wasp queen yet I’ve tried many times
But I remember someone saying something about a undershed or something I’m just confused anyways what was that like human like thing with the mutation
@@Ecl1pseVR A lot of what I've learned about this game I've read from the Grounded Fandom. And I think you're talking about the Mant. That's the Undershed boss.
@@pureadhd how do I get there also Ibe watched someoff your content I subscribed
@Ecl1pseVR If you've completed all of the labs, your next step is to activate the giant Sca.B on the shed deck table. After that, the game should tell you where to go to get to the undershed.
