Considering the Dodge brothers worked for Henry Ford before starting their own company, it's not heinous that you have Ford parts on a Mopar.

You should get a new bumper do the front and back in Black give it that look think you should do a barn wood floor to it would go great with the overall truck just my two sense

When US vehicles are imported to the UK, if the reverse lights are near the brake/marker lights, they have amber bulbs fitted and are converted into turn signals like this. On cars where they are near the licence plate (limos), amber lights are fitted to the bumper.

That Bible verse truly fits here - your are reviving these left behind cars, & gearheads appreciate that.
I'm going to overlook those dang ferd, I mean Ford taillights - you said you were doing this on a budget, & as long as the lights do what they're supposed to do, no one should complain. But they will, because it makes them feel good about themselves. And you can count me as a fan of the wheel/tire combo: again, the price is right, & a little scrubbing will make them look even better. And matching tires makes Rump feel better in handling, braking, & steering - win/win! Good job - the Rump Road Trip is not too far in the future, I'm sure.

Dylan this has been a nice diversion for me as well a journey into my past having had use of a D100 in the very late 70's. I believe it was 3-on-the-tree though. Also I am sure my D100 wasn't a Step-Side. He cranked over and started in such a unique manner that once you knew how to do so, Wa-La, he came to life and was stout and dependable all the day long.
You rested in the shade of Rump at the end here under the 'Custom/D100' badge and now with FoMoCo tail lamps signaling thru the backup lens there is no arguing this D100 is Customized. Also stop the rust and patch a hole here and there, spray a clear finish you have a fine rescue worth being proud to own and drive.
Thanks for your series on this truck, nice having been a spectator.

Black is the best choice for a contrast to the color, the only other possible is white, and that looks weak. It's easy to work off black, and will be easier to deal with. Some used sheet steel cut to fit for the box, and a lot of grinder discs on the rust. Your arm muscles will ache, but you will look like the terminator. Good choice Dylan

Paint both bumpers Rustoleum White and everything else Orange Rsutoleum then clear it. Leave the reare passenger side fender lumpy but clean the rust and put some rustoleum on it lol Rumpkin is such a perfect name for it. My 82 GMC stepside came with those tail lights. It was the 90's so I replaced them with Iron Cross Tail lights made for choppers. 🦅

don't know how to tell you this but that truck already has backup lights, their mounted between the tailgate and the bumper. one of them is dirty with a cracked lens and the other lens is just plain gone. good luck with the rest of the build.

2156 na bulb would be what you need. I would look around for the same tail light that has a side marker built into the side, I believe the Jeep CJ’s have them.
