I really appreciate how the audio has been equalized and softened to be as unobtrusive as possible. I know how loud this process must be in real life, but you manage to make it quite nice to listen to, good job!
As an avid viewer I say YES! it was worth saving this rug. Your videos are mesmerizing, James. I can feel all the tension in my neck and shoulders leaving and by the end it's gone. Thank you.
Oxy Boost! O3- Natures most powerful cleaner! At least in its natural ozone form. I like when it turns green, you know it attacking the urine proteins that stick to the fibers!
My absolute favorite part is when he puts the hose under the rug and then gently moves the rug back and forth. I can't explain it, I just really like it. 😊
That looked to be a very frustrating rug to clean. I admire your patience. I would have stopped halfway through with the amount of bunching and moving it was doing! LOL. I also loved the way you saved the worms and gave them back to nature and their natural habitat.
Yasss. I love how you put that worm outside so he could be happy. I just love my Rug Bae (I mean this respectfully because I know there is a Mrs. Rug Bae. She has to be awesome too)
From what I understand, the blue soap actually is actually meant for whitening. As someone who owns a white dog, the best kinds of shampoos for her are blue! Makes her fur super bright, so I'd imagine it's similar here. :D@@northbayjedi
I absolutely love your content. I have extremely disabling anxiety and I have no idea but these videos calm me down almost immediately. The sounds are so soothing. Funny side note: I have severe OCD around dirt and germs 🤷♀️🙃
I just want to preface this comment by saying the CRB is usually one of my favorite parts of your videos bc of the foam and how vibrant the rugs look after. HOWEVER, this video was so aesthetically pleasing I didn’t even miss the CRB action. The different camera angles you’ve added showing the flow of suds (dirty, clean, blue, white) as well as the slow motion scrubbing and scraping here and there and for me, the super soapy detergent pour make this one of my top preferred videos you have done. As always your hard-work does not go unnoticed as I’m sure cleaning and filming these rugs must be taxing. I wish you the best health and thank you for making such satisfying content and finding new ways to spice it up for us all. Your videos have thoroughly improved over the years and that says a ton about you as a creator. James, you are appreciated!! 💙🤍
Thank you so much for saving the worm, some people don’t care but many more do.. this makes you a kind person thank you so so much x great respect for you xxxxx
Great as always and with blue disinfectant! Please consider making a video without any cuts. You can even show how you create the shampoo mixtures or how you clean your space.
I couldn't watch it this morning as I usually do every Friday, I was SO looking forward to watching it and relaxing after work and you did NOT disappoint as usual James! What a miraculous save! 🙏
I have so many questions watching this video. How does a rug become delaminated in the first place? Can you fix a problem like this and what does that entail? How did that first worm survive Dirt Reynolds? How did the second worm survive Dirt Reynolds AND the pressure washer?? The rug turned out wonderful and would be a great addition to any home. You must get a great sense of satisfaction seeing the end results of your work. P.S. Thank you for the extra squishy steps on the rug after doing the back. It makes my little asmr heart happy
Rugs can become delaminated if the latex on the rug becomes wet and doesn’t dry properly, you can fix it but I’m not sure the exact process. Worms are tougher than you think!
"hold on, I have to watch my emotional support rug cleaning video to get to sleep" 🤣 James I'm not sure what you expected when you started making videos but I'm so glad you turned it into this art form. ❤
I watch alot of these rug cleaning videos but I prefer to watch yours. lu squeegee for the win. And plz do more blue soap and power stuff that's oddly satisfying
It will be even worth it if you get it repaired, my guess is it has a few holes somewhere where the fibers are not properly attached to the backside and water penetrates too much and it creates a too big of an air flow, which should not happen. I had a rug that had this kind of issue, that’s why it made me think of it.
It probably isn’t worth the cleaning unless it is professionally relaminated. Or, this rug would make for nice art on a wall, only it may need framing to keep it from buckling. Regardless of whether or not it is worth the cleaning, from my perspective it is definitely worth watching! As always, you do a fabulous job! Thank you.
My first time watching. I never thought that the rug was so richly patterned or that it could come so clean. BTW just found out my granddaughter watches your videos
I have questions about your water usage. Do you treat and reuse it again? What do you do with the grey water, if you don't do it yourself? How much water do you generally go through per rug? No reasons behind the questions, just asking since they popped in my brain. Also, I loved the peek behind the curtain seeing the carpet hanging dry. Thank you for that! Wouldn't mind seeing more of the drying side in the future. That would be so wonderful
i LOVE that gorgeous blue soap you used and that pretty blue crystalized soap you used! you should use them in every video 😁 is it a specialized soap or something?
That rug was like a waterbed!!🤭 How long did it take you to get the blue out?? It was really pretty though! 🤣 But that rug was not very cooperative lol Brilliant job of getting that clean 😳🫡
Surely it's worth it! You put a big effort to make it clean and safe again. By the way, if someone would sew it with several seams around the perimeter, 5-7 cm from edges, it won't be sliding anymore and become useful for quite a long time ❤ thank you for your work! Beautiful)
@@GracieHendry well, if it has waterproof underlayer, then surely it will. Just as for me, I'd be annoyed about sliding more than water coming through 😆
Is this rug repairable? The delamination is sort of a deal breaker when it comes to putting it to proper use as a rug. But if it can be fixed by replacing the glue and reattaching the backside, it's absolutely worth it imho.
I always wondered how much water is used for a single rug/carpet cleaning? That seems a lot. Is there any way to re-use the dirty water if it went under chlorine or other kind of cleaning?
Why aren't more people talking about the videography skills of these videos?? Least sexy (and still super tranquilizing videos) amd yet has the same energy as a thirst trap
I travel a bit for the holidays and so many changes! Love Lu Squeeegeee and the blue solution!!! I can only assume the rug separating made it much harder for you clean but wow it looks great! Glad you did!!!
Question for the content creator; Perhaps you've answered for one of your viewers previously, but how is the contaminated water collected in the catch basin disposed of? Enjoy your channel. Thank You.
A long time back he mentioned that he has a puddle pump in the trough. I believe he'd mentioned that the cleaners were all biodegradable, but as to where it is drained I don't know if that was addressed..
I gotta admit, that blueish tint got it into this age, well, close enough. A bit The Cure, A Forest. Those brown on beige colours are more like The Carpenters '72. Ford Pinto. But then, The Cure are old now. Really old.
JAmes I dont know if you can see or are replying to my comments. TH-cam wont show me notifications about anything all of sudden. Very! But I wonder if it's a risk of accidently dying the rug a blue tint
