A new original tag from Book Buds! The Library Tag!! Did you know Book Buds films right next to a library? We had to make this tag! Let’s talk about your library habits! We have questions for BOTH those of you that go to the library AND those of you that don’t! Answer the questions that apply to you.
If you DO go to the library… (answer these)
1. How often do you go to the library?
2. Do you belong to more than one library system?
3. What percent of books you read come from the library?
4. Do you listen to audiobooks or get e-books from the library or are you hooked on Audible or Amazon or something else?
5. Did you go to storytime at the library as a kid?
6. Have you ever borrowed a movie or video game from your library?
7. Have you ever gotten fined for returning books late? If so, how do you feel about that?
8. Do you attend special events, groups or book sales at the library?
9. Have you ever given or taken a book from a little free library, a book box or a book swap?

If I lived in your neighborhood, I’d always be walking. I have zero little free libraries around. Not even in neighboring townships, boroughs or cities. Great answers.

@@JamesRuchala I meant to post my video yesterday, but my phone has died. I'm hoping that the fine folks at Tech Savvy can resurrect it.
Come to think of it I used to have a card from the library in Brooklyn. Back in the day, if you wanted to use the internet they made you get a card. I’d forgotten about that. I’m sure I was just there for a week.
When was this week that you were in Brooklyn?
@@JamesRuchala Gosh so long ago! I was also in Brooklyn for Sandy but then our problem (or one of our problems) became finding WiFi - it must have been before we got smart phones. So several years before Sandy? (We had high ground for Sandy, then took Megabus back to Chicago as the airport was closed. 🙂)
I stopped going to libraries many years ago. If I wanted a book I'd buy it at local bookstore or order it online. If I enjoyed a book i wanted to keep it and own that copy. Around the neighborhood there are some book boxes and I check them out occasionally.
I think I'd be a regular patron if it wasn't a separate out-of-the-way trip to go. I do like to keep favorite books as well.
I love libraries, but I prefer new books or digital books. I used Libby and the Cloud Library app. They both use my library card but they have different books. I don't know why.
I've never heard of Cloud Library. I'll have to check it out.
