I loved your library related stories, particularly Abe’s language development. Thanks for the tag. These are great questions!
Thanks, Heidi! I’m eager to see your version (and your vlog and Q&A, since I am so behind…)!
Great job -- love all the personal stories! 🙂
It was so nice to think about those days! Thanks for your comment.
I love the stories of your son 🥰
Thank you! It was so much fun for me to think about those early years!
Hello Hannah, I enjoy all of your library stories. I'm going to do this tag on Tuesday. I love libraries so, so much. My favorite library story is similar to yours; my library bought my first published book. Shalom and Aloha.
Oh how wonderful! I’m looking forward to your version of the tag!
The story about your son rapidly going from signing to reading is pretty cool. I'm glad you had good librarians.
It was so much fun to get to parent my son! I’d love to see your answers to this tag!
Lovely video, Hannah. I just love these stories of Abe! ❤
It was so much fun to think back to his younger years!
Your voice is entrancing. I could listen to it all day.
This tag is making me want to, at long last, make a new video. This tag is made for me!
Thank you for much! Yes, I would really love to see your answers. Consider yourself tagged if you haven’t been already!
I love when you share these tags Hannah! It would be fun to see a video on the Little Free Libraries in your neighborhood! I started sharing books with LFLs during the pandemic, meeting people from greater than 6 ft and learning what they would loved to read and/or have in their LFL. Every once in a while I would find a treasure too. Thank you, Hannah❣️
Thank you so much, Jodi! I would love to hear about some of your favorite LFL finds!
@@HannahsBooks I found this lovely UK edition of Miss Austen by Gill Hornby, with the beautiful "embroidered" dust jacket and gorgeous end pages. (I live in No. California, so this was a thrilling find! A keeper😉) More recently I found a copy of Jane Eyre, Random House with wood engravings by Fritz Eichenberg. This matches perfectly with my copy of Wuthering Heights!! How about you? Or should I wait for your video? ☺
@jodihowe7274 These sound like wonderful finds! I will share some of mine soon!
OMG.. this tag is ME. I basically live at my local library 😂 Love it, thanks Hannah!
Thank you! I would love to see your answers. Consider yourself tagged!
@@HannahsBooks 💕 sweet! 🙏🏻
This is one of my favorite tags (my version is filmed, but won't appear for a couple of weeks). I love hearing how everyone uses their libraries!
Oh wonderful! I can’t wait to see your version! I too have really loved hearing about other people’s library experiences. ♥️
Thanks for sharing all your great stories.
I went a little overboard this time…
@@HannahsBooks Never
Great stories Hannah. Raskin is very cool for a politician
Thanks, James. Raskin taught my son-and lots of other neighborhood kids-to play chess.
@@HannahsBooks even cooler!
You taught us a lot about the extra uses for our Libby accounts. I've got 3 now which includes my employer, DC system, and the FFX County. I've signed up for the LOC as well. 😅 I want all the 📚
I wonder if my Memphis City card is still active. 🤔 Am I just greedy 😂
Oh my! I would love to hear how different the resources are between the libraries.
@@HannahsBooks I'm still learning, but will report back.
Thanks for doing the tag, Hannah! I knew your answers would be fun. I need to up my multiple library game. I love all of these stories! A Little Free Library tour video would be terrific.
Thank you so much for tagging me! What great questions. I have to learn how to film while opening the little doors and poking through the books…
Oh wow! I didn’t know we could get magazines on Libby!! Super excited now- I’m going to have to look for some crochet magazines! So glad you did our library tag! 💕 Love that you were signing the songs together, very nice story. Can’t wait to see your little free library tour. So glad u enjoyed the bonus question- I loved writing that question! 😂
It is a wonderful tag! Thank you very much for putting it out in the world. I’m not sure every library’s Libby has magazines-and there are definitely a limited number of magazines-but I hope you’ll find something good!
I found some crochet magazines! 🎉 thanks! 😃
@@BookBuds Excellent!
Good one! Interesting how Gabe is very much into audio & sound, ah? 😊 You & I have similar tales & experiences regarding libraries, and using their tools. IMA drop this tag next week (probably) 😅 Cool how we both live in cities where we do not have to drive! 🚙 TTYL, Hannah ☘
Abe (short for Abraham) loved music from early on. The music gene passed from my father to both my brother and my son, but it skipped me! I can’t wait to see your version of the tag!
@@HannahsBooks Thanks, Hannah ☺ I always "forget" Abe's name! I'll remember it, now.
I really enjoyed hearing about your library experiences. Thank you for putting together such great videos.
Thank you so much!
The summer dahlia tubers arrived for planting today and the post lady greeted me by name, I thought, I must stop buying so much. The Uglow book looks very interesting, it's not a church I know of.
Oh yes! My post delivery person knows me, too-both because of all the books that arrive in the mail and because I am often out working in the front garden. He used to give me good gardening advice when we grew our vegetables there!
Ooh I really like this tag. Great answers and anecdotes. I may have to do both sets of questions for this tag if I'm going to be honest haha. (My town doesn't have one and we have to go a couple towns over for a little rural one lol) Great vid Hannah
Sounds like you have a fantastic story to tell while answering. Consider yourself tagged, if you are not already. I am looking forward to what you have to say!
I can basically get a magazine subscription for free through Libby?! Fantastic! Also, I loved the library story time story.
Thanks for the comment! I’m not absolutely certain that all Libbys have magazines, but I suspect so-although there are plenty of magazines they don’t have. I just looked at the library resources page-which has recently been updated-and suddenly there are temporary access sign-ins for the NYT, Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal. Looks tremendously easier to use than the program I was using before!
@@HannahsBooks Thanks for the tip. I'll check.
@@tealorturquoise (Just to clarify, the newspaper access is not through Libby. But if my library has it, I suspect many others do as well.)
@@HannahsBooks Got it. Still good to know because I wouldn't have even thought to check. 👍
I hope we get to meet so that you can sign my copy of your book 📖
You have my book?! Unspeakable? My goodness!! Yes-I’d love to meet sometime!
@@HannahsBooks I am waiting to receive it, and I will share it with the Disability Awareness and Black Heritage affinity groups at work. I had not heard of his story before, and feel it's just as important to learn about it as the Tuskegee experiments and Henrietta Lack's story. These people are not characters, they are real and we need to learn about them.
@@MemphisJones This is incredibly kind of you. Thank you so much.
@@HannahsBooks it's my pleasure! ❤️
