I built an offset reverse flow from oil barrels and scrap steel out of the steel bin at work and aside from designing it as i built it, you were most definitely the inspiration behind it as i had subscribed to your channel not long before. I think the new label is perfect and surprising that in the world we live in a name like that wasnt already taken 😂.

Good job man, from one steel manufacturer to another. I have been in the steel manufacturing field for more then 30 years. I do not build smokers or BBQ's but how you build these is a lost art for sure. It's all laser cut and so on now. You would be hard pressed to find anyone that could run a torch under the age of 30. I'm sure you have thought about a cnc plasma table. There is a company out of texas I think called CandCNC or something like that. you can get all the components for under $2000.00. You just need to build the table. I just thought I would share that info with you. Keep up the good work.

I think what you do is great. I notice in a lot of your videos you cut the steel with a torch just curious if you also cut the tuning plates the same way since they should fit together tightly?

Allen I don't mean to be a internet police , but in every video you call the thermometer a thermostat. Thermometer reads the heat , thermostat controls the heat. Beautiful work on a great smoker non the less .
I want the 800.00 dollar one but I want the gas hook'em up and the thing that goes in the firebox I wish that you would make a tourtorial on the tuning plates to show how to use them to get that even distribution of heat!
