You are not a welder, not a iron worker, not a country smoke builder. You are a true artist! Great art.

    Hey Allen.
You talk about getting faster with getting these done sooner.
You put out an excellent product. Don't suffer quality for quantity.

If we were neighbors I'd be over there helping you out ! I wouldn't mind the noise, I have a fairly good stockpile of earplugs from construction jobs that I used to work !! 😁😁😁👍👍🤜🤛✌

You have inspired me to learn how to weld and start building my own pit down here in New Zealand. Your a master of your trade and no doubt you make things look far easier than they are for a learner but we all got to start somewhere. You have given me tonnes of design inspiration. Keep up your amazing work!

It’s nice to see you have a new welder and plasma. That’s gotta save time in itself! Weld on and keep the clips comin!!

For your consideration, placing the shelf 2inches below the chamber door would possibly allow unobstructed opening.

Love your videos chief, your wrk is excellent. I’m going to give you a tip for working quicker (I was something in the cheffing world, back in the day), as everything I ever did was to speed things up. Try to get lots of the same job done at once. Say you’re cutting tubing, cut ALL the tubing at once (as much as you can). Then move onto the next job, all the plate. All the handles welded etc, you get the picture. Speed comes from repetition and you can build up more speed sticking to one job at a time. It’s all in the prep work, just like in a kitchen. Keep going anyway, you’re doing fantastic stuff.

Great videos Allen! Do you use hot rolled steel for all of your grill grates? The coal basket and grill grates almost look like stainless steel after they're installed (Around 16:00 in this video), or at least look like bare metal without mill scale. If these are HR steel, how do you get all of the mill scale off? When welding them together I can clearly see there's mill scale still on the square tubing. Keep up the good work!

Hi Allen. since you weld often outside, how much wind can blow before you experience problems with the Gas not covering well the welding pool?

When it comes to the math, what do you use to find those angles? And if there's a source out there that shows the angles can you link it. I am one that wants to play around with this but am unbelievably horrible at math.

I don't see how you get so much done without an indoor shop. If I ever plan to weld outside, it could be sunny all week until the day I plan to drive home and work. I'll make the 12 Mile drive from work to home and as soon as I get out of the truck it will start raining.
