5:05 Ash either does almost nothing vs unchained, or it completely stops the turn. Would not say it's great against unchained. There's too much variance. 6:30 Assuming you're playing against a good unchained play who knows the lines, nib is actually worse than ash. There are lines to play around it w 2 card combos, and almost all 3 card combos play around it. Keep in mind for comparison that ashing a 2 card combo is turn ending. Nib is not "gatekeeping the deck." 7:30 About half of the reason droll is bad vs unchained is Yama can add from deck and gy. 9:53 I agree with hitting tour guide on sight. However, stopping the sharvara from popping a card is irrelevant. If unchained wants one of their cards popped, its getting popped, with or without sharvara. 10:15 If you're implying that veiler and mourner are good against unchained, well, they're not. When you're siding, after you've taken out drolls, take out veiler and mourner. Imperm is good, but not because it's a handtrap. Instead, you use it to hit the wave high king. Negating a double rukallos is good. 11:48 Phantasmay is not good. You're not keeping your body. You are basically required to summon it on summon of yama, or else they'll make the DDD before you can summon it again. Then unchained easily makes a card that links with phantasmay, and if you negate and destroy it, it triggers to float and they make another card that link summons with ur card. 13:57 No way they're going to chain the escape. 14:35 Not only will they get resources back to hand, they'll also get yama to reborn the rage. Evenly is pretty bad vs unchained. Unchained Spreadsheet if somebody is interested: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZwEVKLkTYLBGWa-VRBTdbAXlYNz7OjXJ1dBU3-TxjUk
@@romygutierrez7873 One of the major strengths of unchained is that there is no single blowout card against it that is being played other than shifter. Gozen can work but if they're playing knightmare phoenix you're screwed. They have three attributes, shyama pops in water, the lv8 dude pops in dark, and for fire they can make phoenix. A lot of ppl aren't playing it though, and a lot of their plays start with fires, so you can get unchained players with it. That being said, if you just want to hate out unchained, silent graveyard is a good start(soul drain sucks because it only hits monsters), but its not getting played because it doesn't have enough coverage vs other decks. If you're playing a backrow deck, Lord of the Heavenly Prison is the sleeper going 1st tech card, because for some reason it stops unchained from popping their own sets as well, and there's nothing unchained can do to out the Lord. The real tech is just putting things in defense mode. Unchained gets out of a lot of tough situations simply by going into battle phase, crashing, and floating.
@@austinh1805Thanks for the spreadsheet, it's very helpful! Did you do it yourself or else, where does it come from? Maybe there is a good group of unchained players?
If your deck can afford a lvl 8, I found BLS pretty useful. As it cannot be targeted nor destroyed by card effect, it is pretty easy to just sit on it, banishing whatever they float on and slowly burning their resources.
The only way i ever learn to beat good decks is by playing with them myself on simulators. Then i actually get a feel for what they struggle with. I haven't played unchained at all, so facing them is a struggle bc I'm just guessing
I found Pankratops to be pretty decent against Unchained going 2nd. You summon that big beefy dude and threathen to walk over the Link-2 by battle, and if they activate it or the destruction trap you chain Pank's effect to destroy Ceasar. Pank to 3 Konami pls!!
@@gmiku9533 This won't even work as intended, CL1 Yama CL2 Rage, they get back a fiend and then summon/pop a twin to float into Abominable. Then they discard what they added to pop Pankratops, while they are reminded Pank cannot activate during Damage step. And then they fold to Caesar.
And then you play against someone without the new support, chaining shifter to your dweller.......... (my point is the trigger not only in the gy, not that anyone would play shifter there with Sharvara)
After playing against them in a regional, I’ve learned that if you go first against them and keep them off of 2 monsters on the field, they struggle to combo
Evenly is worse than you brought up. Lord of Yama will likely still be in the grave by that point and be able to trigger getting your Rage back on the board. Even with the Gryphon line, you aren't likely to remove enough to justify the one card and battle phase you're giving up.
I thought about deck lockdown against them, but I bet they can just pop it huh? What about three copies of prohibition and call there key cards that are the most important?

Any quick suggestions on what is good against unchained that isn’t mentioned in the video?

Maybe there is a good group of unchained players?
This was really helpful.
So nothing works against Unchained? Got it
Literally search out "how to beat unchained yugioh" 22 minutes after this gets uploaded? that timing tho
Just chain them after they become unchained
Ironically yes.deck lockdown
🤓
Going to my 1st ever regionals this weekend and watching these videos has helped me feel prepared for some of the match ups I don't see at my locals.
Silent Graveyard and Soul Drain all effects trigger in graveyard so they'll be negated or just won't be able to activate

what BLS are you talking about?

Unchained used to play shifter before DUNE
All of the new cards are hurt by it though, if you get shiftered you’ll usually only end on one interruption with minimal to, usually, no follow up
And this was the case before DUNE too

Youre the best man thanks for the content
If they have a doggo and a Caesar, while you have a Kaiju, what would you normally go for?
Depends on your deck
With lab if you constantly use heavenly prison and book of eclipse or moon they cant destroy set 😂
Also if you make rank 4s, Abyss Dweller in the Standby Phase is gg😁
started playing this on my tears. its gg.
Why not draw phase
And then you play against someone without the new support, chaining shifter to your dweller..........

I’m a mate of unchained this is smart but when you get to the top tables unchained players may have counter like chalice and shifter.
Enemy controller taking ceaser is so good lol
After playing against them in a regional, I’ve learned that if you go first against them and keep them off of 2 monsters on the field, they struggle to combo
Sounds like most decks tbf
Abyss dweller kinda nice going first against this too
Lava Golem if you deck can. For purrely player's use happy memorie to cancel one of the pop, going first you can set happy, going second chain happy.
Spellbound going second against unchained is pretty good. They can’t use any of their existing cards to link climb.
Is belle any valuable?
Now i know what to play around against as an unchained player! Thank you fellas 😊 shyama for the win
What we needed👍🏾

Back with another squideo
Is DRNM good vs them?
@@Squiddys Ah true, they have an amazing selection of backrow. I liked the cosmic cyclone counter pick

Time to put dweller in my extra LOL
Abyss dweller just wins
Just remember that a real kaiju can easily beat this kaiju mechanic based deck.
Uh... lol. No it cant.
What about when they float?
Kaiju on links feels pretty good, slumber will fuck they board up too feels great.
how to beat dinomorphia!
Called by is good! Definitely siding it against this deck.
play ghost reaper and yama
Just to be sure the xyz can’t negier the nib?
Imperm and cosmic
Phantazme might be in the side again
Very nice card
Consistant squiddeo vary brokan tiar 0! 🎉
