Diane: Great job on your easy to follow video for these fingerless gloves. I'm going to give these a try with one little change for my purpose. Instead of hemming after I sew them together, I'll hem the edges them first. I make up sewing projects for students for hand sewing class. This will make it easier for the project in class. Will let you know how they come out!
It's going to be a colder winter in Europe this year indoors as well as out so I'm making these for my daughter and granddaughter first of all and then probably more for friends and relations. I've just made a pair of stretchy gloves without fingertips for my daughter in a lovely smooth Meryl stretch fabric and these should slip nicely over the top of them without the fabrics grabbing each other. 🙂
Thank you very much for doing this tutorial! I am going to make my Mom several pairs of these gloves, as she has Giant Cell Arteritis which decreases the blood flow in her arms and hands, causing horrific hand spasms and cramps that last for hours. Keeping her hands and lower arms warm, truly helps control the amount of hand cramping she gets each day. I appreciate the ease of your pattern and construction! God Bless ~~Christy~~
Very nice pattern and easy to follow tutorial! And by the by, your hands are just fine! They express your creativity and that’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for posting this! Been looking for a super easy pattern for these types of gloves. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with everyone! Have a blessed day!
OK, I did a test sample hemming first. It leaves a little bulk, but for a hand sewing class with students it'll be ok. Thanks again for the super easy video!
