Adam, a boat is used to refer to a small/midsized vessel to travel coastal and waterways. Ships are very large vessels that travel on the high seas and oceans. A ship can carry a boat, a boat cannot carry a ship.

The Captain and The Woo! I love it when you go rogue, plans go out the window, and you put your feet on the ground to go 'sploring! Gift of gab and outstanding grub, a little US history, camaraderie - what more can we ask for? Thanks you two!
Spent years in chemical-related industry. The white icicles overhead in the tunnel is more than likely calcium chloride - sprayed on roadways and grated bridge entrance/exits to prevent ice/snow accumulation. It's white, crystallizes as it dries once the water has been leeched or displaced by tires. (I wouldn't, but it woulda been okay to touch then taste the icicle from the concrete joint above. It's calcified salt! 1 process away from table salt.) Dusty residue disappears once it rains. But it can also eat concrete and cause major infrastructure damage if not kept in check.
PS: StalacTites Top down. StalagMites you Might trip over it.

Adam, the approach you flew to DCA in Washington is called the “river visual” approach to runway 19. We’re required to follow the Potomac River all the way to the runway threshold. There’s a tight bend in the river just past the Rochambeau Bridge and that’s why you felt a right turn just before landing.

You might find a boat being carried by a ship, but a boat would never carry a ship. It is somewhat a matter of relative size of the vessels, but ultimately the difference in terms is due to a maritime tradition of respect for what ships accomplish at sea. Thanks for all the great videos, Adam!

My mom grew up in Atlantic City, and myself I Grew up 15 mins away. Love their subs, they definitely stack up with Philly hoagies

I am so jealous of that hoagie, I used to live near Philly. Now I live an entire state away from a good sandwich. Love that Econoline too! You should get a classic van.

When I moved to Philly in 1990 I remember biking by a schoolyard and seeing a rainbow of thousands of crack viles floating on the playground. Kensington said ‘hold my narcan’.

I was telling my sister that I have this random love for Philly. I have enjoyed my time there every single time I've gone.

I imagine that the people who work in the building with the Rocky statue are so profoundly tired of listening to people doing the Rocky imitation that they’re going to start throwing things soon!
