right .. i don’t even like to go out without making sure i have enough cash, let alone spending that much AND THEN not wanting to pay someone back … insane to me
It was an expensive restaurant and she was invited by a friend so most likely the prices were not on the menu and she probably planned on paying with credit herself. Do you not understand that this main group of friends is wealthy and they probably spend 200+ on dinner a night without even thinking about it
@@cadycastle9957 it doesn’t matter the price of the meal or whether or not the friend group is wealthy, its the integrity of speaking up about how the bill is being paid if she could not pay her back the same night or next morning at the latest. if they are wealthy would that not mean they would have no issue doing so? transparency and communication was not utilized here
@@myrezz8833 exactly! People trying to make her seem like the bad guy. Everyone knew what was up that night. There were discussed plans. Everyone wants to be the beacon of morality and have the holy opinion. No you’re projecting and have nothing better to do 🤣😽 Also she gave her 6 weeks!!! Many people wouldn’t even give you a day for that amount.
If the girl couldn’t pay her back right away, she could’ve just explained herself and said something like “hey I can’t afford all of it right now, can I send you half now and the rest later?” Like it’s that easy?? I understand being embarrassed if you can’t afford something but when you’re an adult you gotta just bite the bullet sometimes
also if her original intention (before realizing they werent going to split the check) was to pay with a credit card- cant she just pay with a venmo tied to a credit card??
@@SuzER08I didn't even think about that but that's so true 😭😭 but idk if Venmo takes credit cards cause I've never tried. Even if not she could have just asked to pay separately with her card, literally no excuses.
The craziest thing is that she ordered $240 worth of food presumably BEFORE she knew someone was going to pay for it and send money after. So she has $240, but she just doesn't wanna cough it up
@@h34rt5k maybe she was planning to charge it on her credit card ? So she would just carry a balance and make minimum payments bc she doesn’t have the money. Bad either way
EXACTLY, and even if she was going to “pay w her credit card” like ppl are saying, she should’ve just asked to have her portion of the bill cut from the main one. Whatever excuse ppl decide to come up w for this girl, it still doesn’t justify her not paying her back. It’s insane. She needs to give up that $240 bc obv she had the money for it before OP offered to put it all on her💀
If I’m remembering correctly she gave the card before the meal and said that the table would figure out repayment. So she racked up a $240 bill knowing it was going on someone else’s card
I deliver groceries to people and one customer literally gave me her debit card and pin number AFTER I delivered to her. She asked me to buy her something else outside of the app and sent her entire card info with a total stranger lmao
Same kinda!! A lady sent me her WHOLE PASSPORT, because I was delivering a high priced item so I need and ID but she wasn’t home and she just messaged it to me!! And like virtually unlocked her gate and whatever and was like “please just leave in the kitchen”. I was so stressed 😭 but it was more work to cancel her order so I just did it, I was in a random mansion delivering pots and groceries.
I thought it was crazy that people were debating about this like obviously the girl should pay Bria back. Idk like how can you go out to a restaurant and not expect to pay for your own meal right then and there? Also she didn’t offer to pay for everything, it was under the circumstances that everyone was going to pay her back
@@felinemoonchildeven if it had only been 24 hours she would still be within her rights to be pressing the issue. If the girl paid her own bill at the restaurant it would’ve been immediate, so why should Bria have to wait? This is absurd. Me and my friends always venmo each other on the spot
@@originalblerd yeah like don't go out to fancy restaurants if you aren't willing to pay up. Out of convenience this is how my friends do it too. One pays it all and we put picture of receipt on the group chat. And then we make the tip like easily divisible number, depending on number of people paying. And this girl also did it for the credit card points
they're self reporting, all their friends who see the videos they make arguing the og woman are gonna know not to loan them money or cover their check 😭😭😭
@@originalblerdexactly!! When you eat at a restaurant, you pay immediately. Before leaving. End of story. That's how it fkn works. It's insane to me that anyone is trying to justify it in any way, or act like Bria is doing anything even remotely wrong. The fact that she was overall fairly chill about letting this go on for weeks is already WAYYYY more patience and generosity than the situation calls for.
It's the way people wanna confidently misunderstand the situation and be wrong on tiktok just for the sake of being a contrarian. Ain't no way they're riding this hard for a girl that has no name or face yet and I'm convinced they're all scammers projecting; they will do the exact same thing to their friends.
i think that's a bit strong, people have their own practices. kind of a culture thing. for example, where i am the norm is, you pay for someone else as a courtesy, and you often pretend you expect payment back so as not to embarrass them (imply they wouldn't be able to). of course, when that person does ask for payment back, you should realize you misunderstood the situation and give it.
@emilyrobinson1561 That's understandable, but from what was stated, the "credit card" girl made it (friends need to pay back) known beforehand. Most of this info was in the first video on the subject, so the people pushing back strongly in their stitches are still misrepresenting the information. Even with potential culture and norms involved, they're projecting their own issues (and practices) onto this. Second guy went too hard and made too many excuses for a no name. 💀
@@rubyredrum yeah, I acknowledged that she communicated that. My point was that in some cultures, the expectation would be that she should say it, but not actually mean it- like how the automatic response to “how are you,” is positive whether or not it’s true, or how people say “see you” with no intention of seeing you, no?
@@baintreachasI don’t think it’s strong at all seeing the context. Especially when you’re being painted as a villain for wanting your money back when their was a plan set for how it would be resolved.
I know the video isn't about tube girl (who I am learning about for the first time) but people have it ass backwards. Filming yourself in public isn't cringe. It's filming *other people* in public that's an actual issue. Being harmlessly "weird" in public isn't a crime.
I find it wild that people are trying to say it’s wrong to do it in public is because the people around her are ‘are minding their own business,’ if they are minding their business then they don’t have any problem with people around them doing things which doesnt involve anyone else. The best I can see is that it’s people going ‘I’d be so embarrassed’ and trying to bully her into feeling the same
For $240 I bet you could take her to small claims court and if that doesn't work, she should make it clear to all her friends that girl is NEVER allowed out with them again.
I’d be the petty one in small claims. I own a small business and people have tried to threaten to take me for less than the filing fee just to be a Karen
It is absolutely appalling to me that people are attacking the girl that wants her money back. Never buy something you can’t afford. That girl should have NEVER racked up that large of a bill if she couldn’t afford it. I went to dinner with my friend and one of her co workers. She put it on her card, and I Venmoed her from the table. This was the first time I met her and I would have NEVER bought food/drinks that I couldn’t afford. If my friend asks me to dinner and I don’t have money I tell her no. I say “let’s do dollar menu” lol or a free activity. I would NEVER say yea to a meal I couldn’t afford. And if she offers to pay, I tell her “my payday is this day, I’ll pay you back” and I pay her back asap Like wtf?! People’s takes on this are wild. Disgusting behavior from the girl that borrowed the money. She knew what she was doing, she never intended to pay.
ooof, I’ll cover my friends, but a friend of a friend is too far of a stretch for me, especially when it’s $240. I’d also be mad at the friend that invited them for bringing such a person to the dinner and expecting them to also hound the person to pay me back.
She’s probably one of those people who keeps postponing and hopes that you’ll end up forgetting about it, and eventually they assume they’re off the hook because “it was a long time ago”
Kinda like how nick keeps posting hoping people will forget that him, some ethot, her cuck, and a angry ex employee ruined someone's career then celebrated doing it while branding someone a rapist with zero evidence
The friend of a friend literally agreed at the restaurant that credit card girl was only covering for the convenience of the wait staff and she literally agreed on the spot to pay her back that night. How is OP being deceptive when she agreed to it multiple times 😭 ???
She's not deceptive at all. Those people are just selfish idiots who lack comprehension skills, or maybe they're deliberately playing dumb so they can take advantage of kind people. Don't mind them. Like trash blowing in the wind, just jump over that shit and keep it moving.
I’ve been to fancier restaurants for group dinners where they refused to split the check among multiple cards. My friend put a $980 bill on her card. I venmoed immediately of course but I couldn’t believe that a restaurant expects 1 card to cover it.
The girl who borrowed the money might've originally planned on putting it on a credit card, which would explain why she couldn't pay it back immediately (her card might not let her pull a cash advance and/or the fees to do that are actually crazy), but she should've been up front about that while their table paid. Embarrassment at the restaurant doesn't excuse the lack of communication in the weeks after, either.
@@soloheroina not necessarily. apps like venmo definitely allow credit cards. you get like a 3% fee for using one plus maybe some fees from your bank. so if it was just the 3% she’d be paying around an extra $7
@Alex-zp3kx cant wait for when you look back in 5 years and realise you made a video dunking on a dead dog to get back at someone you have never met pls get a hobby
@@soloheroina I didn't know until two seconds ago you could venmo someone on the credit card so maybe she didn't know either. doesn't really matter though, she should have communicated her situation instead
That man was like "you took away her ability to defer or postpone the payment"... like, my good champ, she postponed it for six g-d weeks. Can you do math, there, sport?
This would happen to me ALL THE TIME! and I would end up feeling too bad to ask them to pay me back, eventually I realized that people who always “forgot their wallet” promised to pay me back and never did after several reminders didn’t value me or my time. This one girl in particular, cancelled day of for a concert we were going to and never paid me back for her ticket! It was ridiculous, she ended up owing me just under $2000 (I counted up my Venmo requests) by the time I stopped hanging out with her. Partially my fault since she didn’t have a job I should have known she wouldn’t pay me back ever
i’ve stopped talking to people because of things like this. you become the friend that people mooch off of very quickly. i like to travel and i USED to invite 1 to 2 people bc i was scared to travel alone and usually it’s a similar price at hotels if you get 1 big bed vs 2 smaller beds so i never felt bad for changing my room to the 2 bed style if a friend/friends tells me that they can go. i always say “we can split the room” prior to the trip, so the expectation is set that you will pay me back.. i’ve had friends with the audacity to go on the trips, not pay me back for the room AND be broke. so they dont want to go out to eat anything or go anywhere and do tourist things. im not the type to cause friction, i might ask a couple of times but i’m not going to fight somebody for something like that. i’m glad i’ve gotten over having to always travel with somebody!
@@Crabernacker that sucks, you always feel an obligation to help out friends because you care about them but at some point you have to care about yourself too
I went out for drinks with co-workers on a Friday years ago. One of them was the type to run up a big tab buying rounds, buying appys for himself taking 1 bite then offering it to the rest of the table. So he's wracked up his usual $300+ bill buying us all shots as expected, about half of my co workers had left and Big Spenders ride was about to take off so party is pretty much over. We settle our individual bills and are wrapping up when B.S. decides he's not done and wants to pre pay for 2 rounds and settle. Well you can't actually do that at this establishment so he's going to pay after we finish these 2 rounds. B.S's ride isn't drinking and doesn't want to be roped in for however long so they say their goodbyes and leave me, B.S., and 2 others at the establishment. 3 rounds later and I can see something is wrong with B.S. He left his wallet with his ride and long story short, I got roped into paying for this guys $600 tab. I'm the new guy so I was sorta hazed into it, but I also knew the other co-workers would back me up if I didn't get repaid. Well Monday rolls around and B.S. is 30 mins late, severely hungover, and still looking for the pair of pants he left his wallet in. Word gets out and EVERYONE knows and is ON HIS CASE. He's pissed, I don't want to make a big deal about it but ultimately I just want half my check back at this point lol. So he drags me off our worksite to the corner store across the street, cashes some sports bet tickets and starts making phone calls. He gets in a blacked out Chrystler 300 that pulls up out of nowhere. They peel off and I just shrug and walk back to work. He finds me about 30 minutes later yelling at me for leaving? (You left me pal) and then throws me a loose wad of 20s. He got mad at me for not counting it?? Anyways kids, never get involved in your co-workers lives. They're either not that interesting, or way more trouble than it's worth.
Wow, its amazing how many people can have bad takes about someone owing money. That dude saying she wanted instant payment and it was messing with the other girls finances, like no sir, she messed with her own finances when she racked up a $240 bill on someone elses tab. She had 6 weeks to contact her and settle something out. Hell she could have paid it in parts and im sure that would have been fine. At least there would have been effort made.
And the elephant in the room being if home girl couldn’t pay back right away she wasn’t rolling with money in the first place…. And if you’re broke keep it to the dollar menu 💀
it would also be significantly less shitty if you like suddenly didn't have the money, maybe forgot and spent it on something else, then remembered the girl at dinner you owe. to just apologize sincerely and PAY HER BACK in a week or two even three when you do get the money, just STAY IN TOUCH. it's the difference between a person who means well but is going through a messy era and someone who genuinely feels entitled to not pay you back which is just wild. having a messy era is not great you often inconvenience and upset others but it's also how rock bottom looks and awkward situations like this can be the wake up call if you actually feel bad about the mistake, own up and make amends by paying back as soon as you can. you can get healthy and i'm rooting for you! it's not giving a shit that you owe money that i can't even conceive of.
i’ve been the friend of a friend invited out to eat, and i asked the girl i venmoed if she actually got the money & made sure it went thru cause i didn’t want to forget or make her feel scammed 😭 and it was for like $35
At my friends bday dinner one of her friend paid the bill, my app decided to just not work when it was time to pay, i was so mortified i kept showing her the screen with the error and just offered to paypal lol

@@Izzy_jam depends on the restaurant. I could not afford $240 for dinner right now, but I could still go out with my friends and just order an appetizer or a cheap entree and a soda. Though, if $240 per person is the norm at that restaurant they chose, you’re right and she should have asked to go somewhere else or sat it out.
its wild that these are just normal people and were just all up in their shit, something doesnt feel right about knowing this drama but im still here for it also credit scores can be fucked up very quickly, thats nothing to play with. the poor folk know the truth
Yeah that’s the thing about tiktok is ppl have caught on that it’s a way to ‘win’ arguments or get payback on someone in their life and I find that so unbelievably uncomfortable the way they can be some random person able to weaponise a bunch of other random people on someone in their life like that really shouldn’t be allowed yet it keeps happening EDIT: not saying this is what bria’s doing bc she didn’t name the girl or give any form of personal details that could send ppl after her, this is just like generalised statement on how often personal dramas are now public things on tiktok
people arguing that she maybe couldn’t afford to pay her back right away are missing the point. the other girl isn’t a bank. she didn’t sign up to be paid in installments. if this was something she wanted to arrange it should have been discussed upfront. if her plan was to pay for herself using her own credit card (so she’d have more time), she could have easily asked for her tab to be separate from the group. if this would have been too embarrassing, maybe spending $240 wasn’t the best idea.
People who are acting like “oh I’ll take the bill and you can just Venmo me back” is a foreign and taboo concept are really revealing to us that they’ve never known the joys of having friends and a cute silly brunch with the girlies
I think the one man meant that she took away her ability to pay with credit as in: she did not have the cash to pay it, she would use her credit card and pay that at a later date. But if that was the case she should have said so and paid for her own at the table, it's called communication, or she should have just not went out.
I'm pretty sure you can use a credit card for venmo though so it doesn't really track. There's just a small fee but still it's possible. She could have used a credit card if she really wanted to pay it back.
@@mcarter99 I have no clue about that, but it wouldn't surprise me. Either way, the girl should still be paying and needs to work on her communication skills lol.
Also if that was the case it’s been more than 6 weeks so even if she put it on credit that means she would now be carrying a balance and accruing 20%+ in interest on top of late fees if she truly didn’t have the money to pay
So ive worked as a waitress for years, and i promise you if you tell your server before you start ordering that you want the check split, it wont be an issue at all. Honestly i used to ask when it was groups of people, it made a little more work for me, but its not hard at all🤷♀️
I concur with this, it's much easier when you say something BEFORE, or at least where I worked the system was a bitch to try to split the check AFTER everyone already ordered.
@@hnichole yeah I know a couple places I worked made it super hard to split after the orders are put in, so I made it a habit to ask whenever it wasn't a family or a couple basically🤣🤷♀️
The way Nick brings up ad honimen after ad honimen while bringing up someone's s**cide is exactly how my half-dead brain works every time I try to assist SA victims.
This reminds me of those eight girl who couldn't afford like a 300$ meal after going to a really expensive restaurant. Like why go if you can't afford? Bro i'm broke as hell and it's just common sense to eat cheaper? idk how people assume others will cover for their costs
I shouldn’t be surprised that somehow, the TikTok brain rot makes people think the girl wanting 240 (!) dollars back that she’s been extremely patient about is somehow in the wrong lmaooo
I had a friend who used to always want to go out (I’m not really someone who does that on my own), and then would realize she had forgotten her wallet right before we got to the place, leaving me to pay for her. She never paid me back, which I didn’t mind for smaller stuff like water, but this happened every time without fail. she ended up stealing a bunch of money out of my bedroom and then stopped talking to me when I confronted her about it. If there is a moral to this story: don’t trust people who don’t value your personal property, lol.
0:02 Its more like, "Ah Nick, when are you gonna take responsibility for bringing up s**cide and someone's personal love life, it seems like youre trying to wait till people forget so youll never have to say anything!"
For people wondering a lot of nice restaurants either don’t slit bills or after 6 people you’re considered a party and the bill is one with a tip already included. Breana is totally right that it’s not uncommon for one person to pay upfront and the rest cashapp or whatever. Her mistake was going out to such an establishment with someone she isn’t even friends with.
the day I decided to uninstall tiktok was the same time you started doing this drama coverage. thank you. I feel like it's some kind of divine reward for cleansing my life of evil
My husband put dinner on his card for my brother and sister in laws bachelor type party and they even followed up with me to make sure everyone venmoed us just to be sure. And everyone paid us on Venmo while we were still at the table.
Nick is the guy i need when theres drama i know nothing about and have no interest in but am more than willing to sit through 10-25 minutes of information relating to it.
I usually pay for dinner for everyone because it doesn’t set me back in any way and I love to treat my friends (I have the means to do so). But if I’m going out with my friends, I’m only paying for my friends.
I hate this as a broke college student when we go out to eat id always make sure to pay back asap when someone pays for the group but sometimes when i do the same for them like oh I'll pay it now u can pay it back later some people do NOT pay back unless i keep pestering
I work in DC and often wine and dine for work. Usually, the bigger the tab, it’s more likely the restaurant will want one single payment. Venmo/Cash App are essential, even for strangers going to dinner. At least that’s how it’s been for me. Total dick move to not send the payment right at the table.
As a waitress I greatly appreciate when one card is put down for a large group because it’s extremely time consuming to split the bill multiple ways. Most restaurants, especially nice ones, do not encourage splitting the bill more than four ways per table.
this is why you keep it with close friends AND you transfer the money AT THE TABLE and don't hand that card over till ALL the money has been sent! if not then you talk to wait staff or even the manager to organize separate payment. and ummmmm if she had the finances, she would have sent that money right away!!!
Owing someone that much money and then acting like they’re a bad person for wanting that money is so wild. My friends boyfriend owed someone money for rent that they covered for him. Later when they and their friends were harassing my friend, her boyfriend would not get involved at all and was telling her to just ignore them and that they’re a b*tch. Like I don’t care if they are a bad person, if you owe them money, pay them the damn money.
the guys reply about the girl being robbed of her points and her ability to pay in increments is completely null because you can literally pay with a credit card on venmo LMAO
Tube girl is just trying to help those of us with crippling social anxiety. Seeing how most ppl just don’t gaf when they are making tiktoks in public helps me realize no one but me is thinking about how I stumbled walking in the store lol
I feel horrible when I have to borrow money from anyone it becomes a mission to pay it back as quickly as possible because I just don't like being indebted to people
the point of tube girl is to show people to just be confident and have fun, not worry about how you look or how others see you. stop caring about looking silly. just have fun.
It’s also like the ppl making points about her being in public and bothering other ppl or whatever these people have Clearly never set foot on the London Underground bc for one thing there’s always someone doing Something and for another the lines she’s taking are obviously not the major ones or at off peak times bc there’s like 3 other ppl in the carriage, she’s not bothering anyone bc no one’s even there LOL I would significantly rather be on the underground w tube girl than football fans or bachelor(ette) parties I’ll tell you that
This is crazy. Obviously shes in the right, but this sooo could not be me. If she went to a restaurant with 8-10 people and someone spent $240, even if that was on the high end of the group, she was down to drop what, $1500 on one dinner and just wait for people to pay her back? That's a crazy amount of risk. Split the check sis, whatever tip the waiter gets on a $1500 bill is worth it
@@persephonekuinsey7255 I’ve also been a waitress, and it really depends on the restaurant. At one I worked at, I could split the bill myself. At another, I needed a manger to do it for me and on a busy day it would take me anywhere from 5-15 minutes to have a manager do it. It depends on the program you’re using too.
This is why I ALWAYS pay my bill waaaay before the evening ends to not mix up anything unless I OFFERED dinner to a friend. As a side note: I’ve only been subscribed to your channels for a couple of months and it’s such a pleasure, I love your take on things.
Had a housemate at uni who would always ask you to buy stuff on your card with the promise youd pay back (at a bookshop, food, drinks, trinkets). We all realised she owed 3 of us around £200, I think i was the only one who got paid back as I was quite insistent and used the excuse that my dads account was linked to mine and he wouldnt like it.
I love getting my drama from nick and then filtering it to my friends so i can act like a youtuber with a very dedicated audience of 5 or so people who are increasingly horrified by what i know
Yo, if the girl who owed $240 wanted to pay on her own card, she could have simply said, "I would rather wait and get separate checks." Yes, it takes a little bit longer, and it makes it a bit harder for the server, but if you really need your own check you can Literally just ask for one.
In regards to the tube girl sidetrack, I think it’s a fun trend as long as you’re not getting in people’s way and/or getting people in the background that haven’t consented to be filmed and posted online
ive done this with my friends where i put my card down and everyone repays me. and sometimes some of my friends dont have the money at that moment, but they communicate that beforehand and send the money as soon as they have it. there is no excuse for this person to not pay.
The guy saying she “took away her chance to pay with credit” acts like she tackled her to the ground and ripped her credit card into pieces so she couldn’t pay her part of the check like it was optional 😂 Splitting into 2 checks is not as bad as 8 so she still could’ve paid herself she just didn’t want to most likely
honestly if she couldn't afford it immediately after the meal she should've just said that. don't lie and say you'll pay her back the next day then ignore her for 3 weeks.
usually I only go out to eat with one friend but every single time we go we always switch who’s using their card so it’s fair and we don’t expect to get paid back.
Tell me you have adhd without telling me you have adhd. Made me laugh so hard when he clicked on the livestream with the 2 guys because it got so sidetracked
At the point of six weeks out, it’s honestly the responsibility of the friend that invited this girl to foot the bill.. that wasn’t the TikTok girls actual friend she shouldn’t be responsible for tracking her down. If I was the one that invited her when she didn’t pay I would feel hella bad, foot the money and track her down myself. I can either then cut my losses or find a way for her to make it up to me on the long term but these two are essentially strangers, I would be so embarrassed.. plus this girl that owes money probably doesn’t feel the consequences cause it’s a stranger but if she knew her friend had to cover her ass maybe she’d get the money together quicker.
My old roommate owes me and my parents $1300 in total for the month of rent they covered and the furniture I let her keep because she was a slob and I couldn't stomach cleaning some of it. It's been OVER A YEAR AND A HALF and she and all her friends have blocked me on everything. People are despicable.
Like... I get that sometimes there's an issue with the bank or a sudden financial emergency, but that's when you mature up and tell them "Hey, something came up, I'm not gonna have the money to pay you back until my next paycheck" it's literally that simple???
$240 is INSANE but I have definitely been in that situation with less money. The guy was partially right when he was mentioning stuff about being able to use a credit card, and yes it seems easy to say no but it's incredibly scary to basically tell everyone you're poor by saying you can't be on the tab. A few years ago I definitely got into things where I was like "oh I'm going to get paid by this day so I can pay it back then" and my invoice didn't go through and I was stuck scrambling to pay someone back. I feel bad for her because I'm sure she's incredibly stressed about it and I hope she never gets "exposed" but I do think $240 is a bit of an insane bill to have to a random person and I hope she's able to pay it and not feel indebted to this person for long.
me and my friends exchange money like water it’s insane the way we pay for things and then zelle each other back. like idk we just have that trust bc who doesn’t pay someone back??? i can’t imagine being in her place it must suck 😭😭. also i do NOT understand ppl that spend money they don’t have
If I was the person that owed someone that much money, I would feel so bad for not paying right away or even just for racking up a bill that high. I have been in a situation where I owed one my friends money (concert tickets lol) but I was honest and upfront, and I payed about a few days later when I had the full amount (I also gave a little bit more because I felt bad but grateful that they bought the tickets). This is just rude and weird to me 😬🤷♀
Right 😭 I had a water pipe burst and my water bill was really expensive. I had to ask my family for money and I cried doing it. I couldn’t imagine expecting a friend of a friend, and not paying them back. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.
@@layladavis02 Honestly same! I would feel horrible, and I can't imagine doing that to anyone let alone someone that I know and know people that are friends with them😭

This is so crazy. That girl is deliverably and absolutely choosing not to pay her back. Makes me think that she (the not paying one) came out to eat planning to put the bill on a credit card but hoping and praying that someone else would offer to pay so she'd get away with a free fancy meal
I work at basically a dive bar and we have an aged liquor that is $25 a shot…I’ve sold it once to a man celebrating with his 3 friends for something…they each got 2 shots among other things and their bill was easily $300 by the end of it. It’s not hard to hit that number, but it’s baffling to not have the money before going out for that.
as a former server: it is VERY easy to split a bill. if you wanna split it evenly however many ways? that’s a simple press of a button. for large parties, we’ll take orders based on a person/family/seat #. so if everyone wants to pay their own individual bill, if the server rang it in in an organized way, that’s super easy too. if you want to make it easy on yourselves AND your server, let them know up front that the bills will be separate. easy peasey.

I usually pay for dinner for everyone because it doesn’t set me back in any way and I love to treat my friends (I have the means to do so). But if I’m going out with my friends, I’m only paying for my friends.
striving to be rich enough to always treat my friends 🦋
I hate this as a broke college student when we go out to eat id always make sure to pay back asap when someone pays for the group but sometimes when i do the same for them like oh I'll pay it now u can pay it back later some people do NOT pay back unless i keep pestering
I work in DC and often wine and dine for work. Usually, the bigger the tab, it’s more likely the restaurant will want one single payment. Venmo/Cash App are essential, even for strangers going to dinner. At least that’s how it’s been for me. Total dick move to not send the payment right at the table.
me thinking about the weed i could buy with $ 240
I could get 3oz top shelf or 9oz of shake. Medical legal where I live and the prices are great, tons of competition and the tax isn't bad.
As a waitress I greatly appreciate when one card is put down for a large group because it’s extremely time consuming to split the bill multiple ways. Most restaurants, especially nice ones, do not encourage splitting the bill more than four ways per table.
are people just FORGETTING that the girl KNEW bria was gonna pay, and they all agreed to pay her back..???😭
I have absolutely no self control I had to delete tiktok from my phone. Your videos keep me in the loop of all the drama. Thanks :)
this is why you keep it with close friends AND you transfer the money AT THE TABLE and don't hand that card over till ALL the money has been sent! if not then you talk to wait staff or even the manager to organize separate payment. and ummmmm if she had the finances, she would have sent that money right away!!!
Like I don’t care if they are a bad person, if you owe them money, pay them the damn money.
hell yea
the guys reply about the girl being robbed of her points and her ability to pay in increments is completely null because you can literally pay with a credit card on venmo LMAO
i giggle and kick my feet whenever nick uploads
Tube girl is just trying to help those of us with crippling social anxiety. Seeing how most ppl just don’t gaf when they are making tiktoks in public helps me realize no one but me is thinking about how I stumbled walking in the store lol
I feel horrible when I have to borrow money from anyone it becomes a mission to pay it back as quickly as possible because I just don't like being indebted to people
6 weeks? I wouldn’t have left that dinner until I had the money.
the point of tube girl is to show people to just be confident and have fun, not worry about how you look or how others see you. stop caring about looking silly. just have fun.
It’s also like the ppl making points about her being in public and bothering other ppl or whatever these people have Clearly never set foot on the London Underground bc for one thing there’s always someone doing Something and for another the lines she’s taking are obviously not the major ones or at off peak times bc there’s like 3 other ppl in the carriage, she’s not bothering anyone bc no one’s even there LOL I would significantly rather be on the underground w tube girl than football fans or bachelor(ette) parties I’ll tell you that
@@rabbit6546 exactly, she recorded herself at the end of a mostly empty car, she wasn't in the way at all!!!
Split the check sis, whatever tip the waiter gets on a $1500 bill is worth it
Some fancy restaurant will not let you do that, sadly.
Exactly this!
@@Izzy_jamthen let that be the problem, cuz this problem of not getting paid back, ain’t it!
Yall, as a waitress, it's not that hard to split a bill
There really can be drama about anything 💀 don't these people have better things to do with their time?
Youd be surprised 😒
You’d think 😂
I love getting my drama from nick and then filtering it to my friends so i can act like a youtuber with a very dedicated audience of 5 or so people who are increasingly horrified by what i know
Saaame
I love that for you 🙏🏻
my ex roommate owes me $309, texted her for 3 months and still no money, people are crazy like that
my man what about accountability about your own actions? bro your whole subreddit is asking you to do better
Thing is, this didn’t really NEED to be drama. Could’ve been settled very easily if they (the one who racked up the bill) would just act more mature.
My adhd loved this episode 😂 the cut away to the random live stream was everything. Please consider streaming for us 🙏
The guy saying she “took away her chance to pay with credit” acts like she tackled her to the ground and ripped her credit card into pieces so she couldn’t pay her part of the check like it was optional 😂 Splitting into 2 checks is not as bad as 8 so she still could’ve paid herself she just didn’t want to most likely
Also not all credit cards have a great point system. Mine doesn’t
honestly if she couldn't afford it immediately after the meal she should've just said that. don't lie and say you'll pay her back the next day then ignore her for 3 weeks.
I think other people must have a different definition of "instant". 6 weeks is instant now? Wow.
usually I only go out to eat with one friend but every single time we go we always switch who’s using their card so it’s fair and we don’t expect to get paid back.
the credit card drama is so dumb 😭😭
Nick does dumb drama best tho 😂
@@gotmilkbuttif it was a rich person problem she wouldn't bug her about paying her back
@@chadrificyou’re right, rich people stay wealthy by lending money to strangers that they never expect back
Tell me you have adhd without telling me you have adhd. Made me laugh so hard when he clicked on the livestream with the 2 guys because it got so sidetracked
Thank you Nick. I had 20 more mins left at work, just what I needed 💅✨️
The man in the end would tell his bank that the second they paid for his house, her doesn't need to pay the mortgage because they chose to do that
At the point of six weeks out, it’s honestly the responsibility of the friend that invited this girl to foot the bill.. that wasn’t the TikTok girls actual friend she shouldn’t be responsible for tracking her down.
What was the girl who didn't wanna pay gonna do if the other girl hadn't offered to put it on her card
Was she gonna dine & dash or something tf?!?!
I would feel horrible, and I can't imagine doing that to anyone let alone someone that I know and know people that are friends with them😭
With a balance that big, it wouldn't even be unreasonable to ask "can I do payments?" Honestly even if you can pay $25 at a time, I know a ton of people who would be fine as long as there's an attempt
$240?? That’s some people’s entire grocery bill!
so happy for tube girl's confidence, and inspiring other's confidence!
Nick! Just gotta say I absolutely love your channels. Solo vids are 🔥 and your collabs are always worth the watch. At the risk of sounding too invested your guys’ / girls’ banter feels like hanging with friends. I like to watch commentary channels while I WFH and y’all always get me cackling. Keep up the great work!
This is so crazy. That girl is deliverably and absolutely choosing not to pay her back. Makes me think that she (the not paying one) came out to eat planning to put the bill on a credit card but hoping and praying that someone else would offer to pay so she'd get away with a free fancy meal
i was SO CONFUSED why tube girl was dancing to queef jerky and then i realized 😭
Yeah I won't lie alcohol at fancy places can run up really quick. A few shots ends up to $60
I work at basically a dive bar and we have an aged liquor that is $25 a shot…I’ve sold it once to a man celebrating with his 3 friends for something…they each got 2 shots among other things and their bill was easily $300 by the end of it. It’s not hard to hit that number, but it’s baffling to not have the money before going out for that.
@@TahtahmesDiary literally! Went to my friends cousins jazz club and all the liquor was crazy expensive. No joke there
ur videos are perfect for background noise there's like no other youtuber who's as calm while speaking.
I love you sm nick! And.. this whole drama is just funny to me. 😭
as a former server: it is VERY easy to split a bill. if you wanna split it evenly however many ways? that’s a simple press of a button. for large parties, we’ll take orders based on a person/family/seat #. so if everyone wants to pay their own individual bill, if the server rang it in in an organized way, that’s super easy too. if you want to make it easy on yourselves AND your server, let them know up front that the bills will be separate. easy peasey.
Several weeks later, and still avoiding the fact that blatantly lied and ruined people like a scumbag.
Crazy
Meanwhile Matt and Ryan actually owned up to their mistakes instead of avoiding accountability like Nick. Talking about how he wanted to just "boost his friends story" with no vendetta involved, yet he relished in their downfall after spreading lies. Nick really is a weasley fuck.
wait what happened
@@strawberryberettHe was outspoken with defamatory statements against SuperMega, taking any attention away from the abuser. Made it a smear campaign for the sake of revenge.
don’t know how much means to you but you posting is honestly one of the best things ever. Because with your video I can discover things with you and relate to you with our opinions. All your videos are also entertaining and funny. I like that this place covers pretty important stuff but in a fun and safe way. I guess idk but keep posting! Also remember to post because you want to too. Stay safe and be happy. Also hoping to get a “you cringe, you smoke” ep. Love smoking along 🤟
ugh tube girl stuff annoyssss me badly. i used to work at an amusement park and there were girls doing tiktok dances there allll the time and it bothered me so much because they didnt care where they took up space and didnt care abt getting people in the background. i dont want to be in the background of a tiktok dance. and i actually need this corner to do my fucking job. also like there are people who need to stay out of social media ENTIRELY for safety reasons, so getting people in the background is always a big no no for me if i take pictures or videos.
Thank you thank you thank you!!! I dont wanna trauma dump but basically I am a victim of a crime that was filmed and sold and I cannot afford to have people who view that video stumble on a tiktok and recognize me sitting in the tube, it would literally put my life at risk Ive been stalked because of it and have to hide and keep all my online stuff private people who film others have 0 consideration
Tiktok is fuckn cancerous and so are attention whres
Yeah I hate this public video stuff so cringe
I love Tube girl. She's not bothering anyone, that train is almost empty so she's not getting into anyone's space, she's just doing her thing. We as a society should embrace people being weird in public as long as it doesn't get into creepy territory.
And I'm saying this as a cosplayer, being weird in public is what I do
I think the guy at 15:00 was talking more about the ability to defer payment on a credit card/pay over multiple months. Not a smart financial decision, but it’s an option when you don’t have the money. Credit cards don’t just exist to create a credit score or get points lmao
