@@johnsonlong1272 in the right situation, yes. In the timber, if not salable timber or undesirable logging timber, this can be a valuable option for lack of other options.

I seen this in one local look like a guy cut down about a half a million dollars worth of cherry and oak and I wondered what was wrong with his brain I forgot he was a die-hard whitetail guy. For the amount of future timber he cut down one of his neighbors who already have trophy bucks on their property because of crops would have probably gladly let him shoot one in fact some people would have paid him to shoot some to get rid of the ticks.
