It took years before the truth came out about the bullying rumors. Meanwhile, Areum and T-Ara suffered unfairly. Netizens need to stop spreading false rumors based on incomplete or speculative information.

Maya Papaya There were some texting and “incidents” that happened which netizens interpreted as bullying. The incidents were clips taken out of context which netizens accused T-Ara as bullying. So T-Ara received a lot of hate. Even though the evidence of bullying was extremely weak, T-Ara and their agency apologized anyway. Netizens hated on T-Ara for quite awhile until the scandal “died down”. Years later, it was revealed that T-Ara was NOT to blame at all. Actually, it was something going on with Hwayoung and her sister. You have to look it up for the details.
Nightjar on the gate : But, from comment I’ve seen, that didn’t make the controversy/scandal go away. Some even hinted at Hwayoung being forced to write that (doubt that). T-Ara continued to receive hate until the bullying chatter “died down”. In the meantime, It seemed like T-Ara became less busy and almost invisible. Only recently, revelations about what really happened came out (years after the bullying scandal). Two members left, one comeback but expiration of contract really soon. (Forgive me if some of the history may be “off”).
I preferred Areum than that ex-member who pretended to be bullied. I hope Areum gets her spotlight too. Areum-ah, fighting!!!

Every each of t-ara members are shy, they even said that they grow up as an artist with no confidence in public since that fake scandal, but they keep persistent and give their best for audience even until now, they're just a bunch of strong women and the fans keep supporting them no matter what

And now she was hospitalised after attempting to take her own life… this brings me tears… she is so talent and it took so much courage to get into that stage. And life has not being fair with her. I really hope she recovers soon and finally gets some peace and love from life.
It’s sad what idols go through on a daily basis. I’m glad she found the strength to appear on tv and even the strength to sing again. Her voice is still beautiful and her rap delivery is still strong.

It was not between her and the other members but after starting the so-called bullying scandal and the departure of the responsible person a short time later (I hate to write this name, you can google yourself) many things went wrong, not only for her, with all of them because their management did nothing to protect the girls from the rumors about the bullying.
Anyways, I wish her the best. She deserve all our love. I'm so happy to see her again.

My heart broke when she said she had a social media phobia and having to go to the doctors. All I know is that I'm happy that she's taking another chance in trying again.
Fikah Rina, I already know she was close to the members, that's why I didn't believe the media when they said she was bullied by them. She was my bias too. Also, I know the twins were horrible but I didn't think it affected her too for leaving and I knew about the leaked text messages that her manager posted that the twins sent her, looking down at her and cussing at her; I just didn't know what the main reason of why she left, either it was the drama or stress or maybe both but the media never give us a specific reason why Areum left, but thanks for taking the time for explaining.

I got goosebumps when she did her rap. She was fighting with her own body and mind to sing that song. I think it is best if idols make their debut a little later. The industry is too harsh and the working hours too extreme. If you ask a 14 yo if they want to be a star, of course they are going to say yes. The producers should just hold it off and let them grow as people and artists. Then they will be able to understand the songs they are singing. Their performances will have pathos. Like this one.

I remembered when I went to K-wave Concert it's on 2012 back then, I screamed out loud when I saw her on the stage She was so pretty and she look so happy with what she did. It's really hurts my heart that she has to been through all these things, She deserves to be happy.
The moment the Day and Night intro played, I got the chills. She was the T-ARA member featured in that song, with Gavy and Shannon. I have bittersweet feelings from seeing her back in the stage after so long.
I still think to this day, if it weren't for Hwayoung (and her sis) and the rumors, Areum would've still been a member, Dani (yes that Dani who was in PD101) would've eventually joined the group like the company said she would once she was a bit older, and T-ara would've never been outcasted for so long! I don't think a lot of the knetizens who follow k-pop (and intl kpop fans) will truly realize just HOW big of a catastrophe the bullying rumors and other rumors surround Areum truly affected the group's entire future. I am only thankful that the Japanese music industry didn't forget about them or else I felt the company wouldn't have been able to support them much longer.... Although, thankfully their individual and group activities are faring better nowadays 💗 Never give up girls! And I'll always support Areum, Soyeon and Boram too!

Areum maybe would've been still with T-ara, one never knows,but I do think she was a greater asset to the group than Hwayoung. I don't think Dani would've ever been a full member, she just didn't have the experience and training.

Holloween was a one night holiday decoration where siblilings and little kids and even parents will accompany them to go door to door asking trick or treat for such simple gifts such as candies( rocket candies and other candies) and chocolates from local stores and give them to children, teenagers and adults. The legend has it that to keep the discontentment and negative energies of the negative creatures away is to give them simple treats without harming them like having a fiesta( simple celebration of each creatures' birth) and they will not plan any nasty tricks on your love ones and friends. In Areum's case, there is nothing wrong with doing what she is doing as long as she does not intentionally harm her self and intention harm others within society.

cried so hard while watching this. you can really see her anxiousness. as a person with the worst anxiety, i really commend her for being so brave. her time with t-ara was so unfortunate bc she came at a time where the group was already established and then the bullying issue rose. fate was so unfair to her. she was so young to face that kind of issue bc of the cruelness of the netizens, not to mention the way mbk handled the situation. its such a pity that we did not get to know her well and was not able to take part in more songs with the group bc she really has a charm and potential both in singing in rapping. until this day, her rap in don’t leave never fail to amaze me. but i’m glad that she looks healthy bc during her time with t-ara she look so skinny. and i just heard that she’s getting married. she’s the first one among t-ara members i’m so happy. 😭 i hope her partner will take away all her worries and i hope she’ll live a happy and contented life from now on.

Come here again a year later, and i still feel emotionally everytime I listened to day by day. It was my favourite song tho. It’s brings back memories about their group at that time and about the hardships they’ve been through. And i’m so happy for Areum right now.
