We gonna just ignore how absolutely stunning Shin Jihoon's voice is. Like. She deserves to be famous.
I realize that in kpop fans give more attention to people who can dance and not sing than sing but can't dance
I got too emotional during yuna's and suji's auditions. the ark had the best debut in my opinion. I can't even tell how many times I've watched their mv and sobbed. I listened to their song on repeat every single day and was always so excited for their live stages because they always managed to deliver something breathtakingly beautiful. also, the members were so cute and sweet. I remembered they did a whole long reply spree on twitter for their fans. if they were still a group right now, they would be my ultimate group tbh
so much mistake that the ark disband, I am a fan of kpop since 2008 and the ark was the first girl group I donwloaded all their live performances.. all members of the ark is so talented and they really have unique color as girl group..
It's not that they are addicted to join auditions but it's more like ppl failed to see their talents.
musick sucks!! they wasted THE ARK & crashed their dreams.
I truly hope they succeed in the program & someday THE ARK can regroup!
And Janey has been in the industry for a while. I hope mbk has better plan for this kid

Janey still needs to improve in terms of singing and especially rapping. She's been learning for a while and she still sounds like she's screaming. She's a good dancer though.
Their talent won't get noticed if they are plain janes to start with,some people simply don't have that special idol aura at all.

It's very rare to see someone with that outlook especially when it comes to competition. The Ark is true friendship.
I love how happy HyunA gets when someone covers her songs! 😍 Janey did great! And I absolutely loved Shin Jihoon's singing! Euna Kim and Suji also did well! The Ark could have been an amazing girl group! So much potential wasted 😢

Look how far Shin Jihoon has come. She’s now top17 and will be performing in the final stage in a few days.
Its so heartbreaking and frustrating to see each ark member in all these different audition programs (and succeeding well in them) and yet they're still struggling to have a break through in the industry. SOOO frustrating because they would've been a top girl group by now if they didn't disband... sigh... I REALLY hope for their success one day

i think The Ark is the very good girlgroup in Kpop history so far, because they're different from other girgroup, they have their own charm, characters. I think the company will regret that they disbanded the group someday

When Jihoon started to just play the piano I got chills until she ended. I really hope she debuts and gives me these songs.

I came here because of the Ark and Lee Suji because after they disbanded she joined RGP but later on didn't get known much.
Omg I remember the Ark... they used to do dance covers (Like for BTS, BTS reacted to their cover and sent them words of encouragement) and debutted on the a year after the Sewol Ferry sinked, killing hundreds of people, most of them being students. Their debut song was like a tribute to that. I cry everytime i watch it.

who knows why they disbanded. their company could have been backed by domestic or foreign investors who may played a part. for example part of why 4 minuted disbanded was because not only was the CEO was incompetent but IHQ held the most shares and they got rid of assests that dont bring profit (unfortunately only hyuna was profitable compared to the rest of the members since 4 minute was on a long hiatus). remember kpop is a business and idols are unfortunately their money making products hence is why there are so many entertainment labels and corrupted labels that sell their idols/trainees

Janey is so pretty. I hadn't realized she was GP Basic's maknae. Fell in love with Euna Kim. Wow! But also, Shin Ji Hoon! Loved her in Kpop Star! She made it far in that show! I don't see her in an idol group, though. I think she suits solo more. She just needs better songs. Her songs after Kpop Star were mediocre.
