William Bentley I honestly feel like it depends on the person. I don't like my steak seasoned with just s&p so I usually do my own blend and I like the dark charred taste on steak. I've had it a bunch of different ways and even with just s&p and I went back to put more seasoning on it. It's all about preference and who you're serving in the end :)

When i would make stake before i would have to par boil it before hand to make it soft enough for my mom. Girl i cut through this meat with a butter knife it was so tender and juicy. When I told a friend of mine I wanted to make this he said please let me know if it comes out as good as it looks on the video.... it did! It even reheats amazing! I cooked it with some garlic parmesan string beans and sauteed green onions, sweet onions and portobello mushrooms in the leftover butter from the steak. Then I made a baked potato and added the butter for the steak and sour cream to it. Steak house quality! Thank you do much!

I had to subscribe after doing the reverse sear and when i tell u that steak was so tender and quick, and i don't even care for steak but this method i can do, and my family who loves steak was asking what did u fo different it was so quick, normally cook slowly to ensure it is tender but not with your method. I made this! I ordered the cast iron skillet and seasoned it according to your instructions. It was delicious! It was actually a little too rich. I could only eat three bites then I had to take a break. Just like at Ruth Chris! I might have gone a little overboard with using bacon grease/oil to cook it in the skillet. Guuurl!

New to your channel and just cooked my steak tonight reversed seared. Lawd, best steak I ever cooked!!!! SMH and seasoned to perfection. Made the sopped up butter but w/out the bacon. Did green onions and dry ranch seasoning mix. Honey cut right into it! I didn’t use ribeye; used t-bone. Thanks for the tutorial.

Honey this is how I'm about to cook my steak today I made this before and it tastes good prepared this way I just make my own butter sauce a little different and i put fresh garlic in the pan with the butter for the base but this is by far one of the best recipies I've found
