Love love love these guys! The combination of both their skills, makes the videos so real! The way Greg explains things is so clear and easy to understand. Thank you both for helping us along the way! It's so hard to find legit tutorials about real life situations so it's good to know if we're steering in the right direction! Please keep on posting! Much love to you and both your families!! XO
So much time is wasted on soaking nails off, especially when the client decides they want all fresh and don't book soak off time. Thank you for this video, it's going to save so much time !
Great info here. I love playing around with nails to see what I can come up with. You guys are truly great people. Thanks for sharing your brain power.
Hi guys good morning the time here is 10:37am, I wanna wish you a great day and thank you so so much fir this awesome video, I always enjoy watching your new videos as soon as I get the notification I quickly tap on it and watch it really makes my day and happy to learn new things that will help me in the future thanks so much Greg and Habib God Bless 😘😇Love the tips and the nail design your Super Greg.
Thank you so much for this video. I know that if you have plastic tips on you will not be able to cut it across. I would like to see more videos like this one.
great lesson! low key I dislike the whole soaking off a set but it's less cringey than watching those people who remove an acrylic nail by using a plastic nail tip to slide underneath between the acrylic and the natural nail to peel the acrylic off.. it seems to be a growing trend here in Australia.. frankly the thought freaks me out.. I prefer the jelly like remover that eats away at acrylics. #oldschool 😊
Ok. So if you make the set with a foundation of clear or whatever and then doing an acrylic design on top then filing down to that layer for the fill and new design on top, would that be more work than doing it how you do it with clipping it off and starting over?
i really like the idea of filling before cut, i bought the drillbit to do that, but when i tryed this, i really was afraid to cut the edges, cause the bit is so sharp and the skin is so close, can you show a few tips to prevent cutting the skin at this point? please!
Quick question: is there any chance that the section where the old nail and new nail meet becomes weakened? Or will the new acrylic bond perfectly with the old? Thanks!
Hello, I am new here and starting to learn for nail tech. My tutor say it is not a good thing to put acrylic from another brand over the existing acrylic and therefor for clients who came from another nail salon to soak off all the acrylic before apply new with your own brand. where do you stand in leaving old acrylic from another salon and fill with your acrylic? Can this be done without problems. I mean does two different brands of acrylic bite each other or not? Regards, Richard.
We wouldn't recommend soaking it off, but just let the client know that the new product will only bond as good as whats underneath... meaning if the old stuff is not good, and it lifts, theres nothing you can do about that.. make sense? But to remove the whole thing is not necessary.
Kari Marzek Yeah I use their protein bond, but I run a nail group & alot of the ladies have been asking about videos to help them with this issue. I thought it'd be a great video with the way they teach & edit their vids. 💖
Cokechiq I had the same problem. I finally found a way that helps. I use the protein bond, top coat, chrome, topcoat, chrome, topcoat. Make sure to cap the freeedge each time. Non wipe gel. Hope that helps! 🤞
Sandra Matthews my assumption would be to ask the client if they want a cut down and if not, just e file it off. There should be a clear coat of acrylic/gel for protection anyways so you aren't digging away at the natural nail. I hope they answer this question though so we can get some pro advice. 😊
What if the first set has a whole nail design, won't it get hot in the back by the cuticle if your trying to get the design off? Or is this only meant for the "ends" like a French?
So when I started doing nails cutting them was never an option because they could crack and u risk cracking the natural nail. Times have changed and so have the products but I still never clip I use the drill
I never knew that acrylic nails could or should be soaked off. Every salon I have ever visited forced a tip under the acrylic and ripped it off. I do not get my nails done often at all because I have naturally flexible thin nails and that made it ten times worse. I love nail art and would do it myself but there is no point when my natural nail is so thin. The art flakes off within a day without acrylic.
midnight here in scotland...cant 😴 so watching young nails 😊😊

I wish all nail techs could be like Greg, he is seriously the best. Amazing tutorial. 😊

Love these vids! Thanks so much 🙌
What would you charge this as, it's more than infill but less than a new set?!?!

Just what I needed! Thanks guys!!!
Nicely done. Good job

Christina Matzen yes that works but it's more time consuming.

Hi guys! If possible can you do a video about tips and tricks to help stop chrome from peeling at the free edge please? Thanks for all you do!! 💖
Young Nails has a protein bond and I believe I saw them apply it to the free edge to keep it from peeling. 💅🏻
Kari Marzek Yeah I use their protein bond, but I run a nail group & alot of the ladies have been asking about videos to help them with this issue. I thought it'd be a great video with the way they teach & edit their vids. 💖

What would you do it was on a natural nail and not a extension?

Mercedes Wieger it won't get hot if you're trained to use the file and use it properly.
Awesome tip!
Awesome new skill! Do you sell that glitter mix? 😁😁
Gracias x compartir 😚
Thank you for sharing. I learned a trick.
I'm just wondering. On the other side of the nail it won't look so good if you don't shape the new free edge.
Wow i love you guys
THANKS YOU SO NICE VIDEO 😍🎊🎉💐👍
would this work with gel nails also??
So when I started doing nails cutting them was never an option because they could crack and u risk cracking the natural nail. Times have changed and so have the products but I still never clip I use the drill
❤

This stuff just doesn’t match what I learned in school... it just hits different 😇💅
Questions that need answers. =)
