INVALUABLE !!! I have come to realise that not knowing how to fit nail forms properly is the main reason newly trained nail techs stick to using tips for ages. This video is a great tool in fitting nail forms that will eventually drop your costs when servicing a client. Tips take so long to blend but aren't cost effective. Nail forms when fitted properly are the only way to go for me. Thank you for this easy to absorb lesson! Xxx

I find that Preshape nail tips are now available and are great to help minimizing sgaping time.
Nail form are some what more reasonable but you still need to be experienced to sculpt the nail in shape to minimize filing & shaping.

don't even know how many times i have watched the yn nail form vids - finally the angling the nail down comment makes sense. i have struggled with nail bite and placing forms so that the gel connects from the growth channel to the extension. Thank you Greg for this explanation. The gravity assist finally makes sense to me.

LMAO! "Roll it, roll it, roll it". I swear my teacher taught me the same way but I always had problems with that method, mostly because I am a nail biter and my mom, whose nails I do regularly, has a high c-curve. As you stated, I couldn't get consistent results with that method. I am so grateful to have watched this video. It is so exciting to learn something that you know will work for you and to finally have answers as to why it was going wrong before. Thank you so much for sharing. I simply cannot wait until I am able to switch over to your products!

Thanks Greg because of you I am now doing forms on myself!!
Former nail biter and now I’m sculpting my own nails.
I used to go to the salon but after watching these videos I realized that the places I was going to were doing it all wrong!
Besides texting and talking on their phones they were also prying my old tips off with another tip, burning me with the E file, drowning my cuticle with product, over filing my natural nails ( ouch) never offering anything new or different. I felt like a number to them.
You should do a video on proper nail tech etiquette and what they should NOT be doing to your nails.
    God bless
    ❤️😊

Just seeing this video, since I came across your channel I’ve been trying to re-educate myself on how to do nails..and putting the nails forms on has always been an issue. I’m going to give this a try and not worry about trying to fit the form on perfectly. Some tell you to cut the form to fit better and I haven’t had much luck with that. Thanks for the advice!! Love watching!!

I just tried forms for the first time on myself (I’m a DIY’er). I had an issue with my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers on my dominant hand where in the corners on the free edge I had cracking. I’m sure it was because I didn’t put the form on right. My non-dominant hand I had no issues with. My natural nails are super short. This is a great video!!

Awesome tutorial. When you cut the tab and attached it ,is that for that type of nail or will that work for nail biter? Would love to see how you use the forms for different nails as in bitten, flat, arched and on nails that have a dip in them curving upwards. Cheers from Australia🌺
