I can't believe anyone would be offended by the "Bob and Marge" nick names, it's an Australian thing to give everything a "nick name", nothing is out of bounds and NONE of it is meant to be offensive....!!
I suspect it's some of our Internationals that don't get our Aussie humour. The irony is that "Bob n Marge" raised Australia and bestowed upon us the piss-take culture. They would be least offended by it, and, would actually embrace the underlying respect given the whole tone is a term of endearment. Unfortunately people are choosing to be offended. You're guaranteed to see these things in outback Australia ... kangaroos, emus, dingoes, camels and Bob n Marge. They are salt of the earth legends.
@@MotologyFilmsI am very far from Australia, but in every single travel video you talk about Bob and Marge and I always understood as cute and respectful way of refering to them, I don't get why everyone is always so offended behind the screen...

Ravensthorpe Hotel, I cant believe it! More decades ago than I want to think about the owners of that establishment literally saved my life at 22 years old. I was riding around OZ as a naive Brit and got caught out in a terrible storm which turned my not very waterproof tent into a ice cold bath at 4 am and I staggered into that place well into the first stages of hyperthermia, unable to speak I collapsed on the door step. They took me in and put me in a warm bed where I slept for the next 12 hours straight and fed me hot food and dried my clothes. When I recovered the next day, I tried to pay them but they refused payment and sent me on my way with a packed lunch. I have never forgotten that act of generosity and kindness, it has remained an example of the finest in human nature all my life.
Absolutely... That was awesome! And the slow-mo adds to it really well.
