It looks so good on you. I made it and it is too small on the hips. Consequently I am in the process of letting out some of the seams.......Hope it works. I do like the pattern. So, so, so easy, but it looks good. If I can get the fit in the hips I will make it again.
That makes perfect sense as to why it fits me well! My bum is so flat and I don’t have much hips!

I think you made the right size. Of course how tightly you want clothes to fit is personal choice but I personally would not wear that dress any tighter unless I was wearing a jacket on top.

I made this dress several years ago and love it. I added the cuffs from the other view to this same view to make the sleeves full length, and that worked well (I didn't want the sleeves to be puffy at the bottom). I also made it shorter - above the knee. Will probably make it again as just a top. I love dolman sleeves, and like you said, it was so easy. I think boots look good with it, especially if you have a lighter grey pair. High top trainers would also look good.
Delilah, that dress fits you so nice! And it looks great! I wonder if you can help me. I need to make myself some sleeveless knit cotton nightgowns soon but can’t find a decent pattern. I don’t want anything fancy but it needs to be in a 2X or 3X so it’s comfy and I can move around in bed easily. Can you give me some ideas of pattern companies to look at for what I need? Thank you!!!
I can't do a twin needle either, and use the exact same technique you use -- serge hem edge, run 2 straight stitches on top. Always comes out nice!

Love your dress. I have this pattern, was unsure if it would suit me. I am only 5ft 2 in overweight with a big tummy. Maybe I might try it
You can do it! all you need to do is take your measurements and cut it accordingly and it will be a great fit!
