Thanks for this video. Had the F21 Code. Took the motor off, and the brushes where about 10mm long, knackered! So got new ones and up and running again after clearing the codes the way you said. Thanks again.

Very good all yours videos, question Is there a way to fix the tachometers in a motor specific for a washer motor with error F7E1(Maytag 2000 series). Thank you
Hi, my hoover washer used to spin real fast as soon as selected a wash then e09 would come up. I had the triac replaced and that fixed that error. Now my wash will do a full 14min wash start to finish but won't complete any other cycle. It shows the error e08 after around 15-20mins. I replaced the brushes, the heater element as I couldn't feel glass getting warm, I have had a multimeter on the 2 wires from the tachometer and getting 65ohms. But the washer still stops mid cycle with e08 error. Any help would be grafefully appreciated. The model number is H3w410tgge/1-80. Thanks.
Hi, Thanks for the video. Can you suggest where to obtain good second hand/replacement motors for these Bosch/Siemens machines? My motor is still functional but smoking slightly under load/high speed spin - I think it's on its last legs. It appears identical to the one you used in this video.
Hello, My Bosch recently started throwing rcd a minute into cycle. Heater element seems fine with 23ohms across L-N. Looking at motor with terminal up the way, left to right. 1 -2 =0.86ohm (windings) 3-4 2.7ohm(brushes) 5-6 23ohms(tacho) Carbon brushes are around 30mm so all good there I'd say. The naming is going on my own probing hopefully got this correct. Is this a healthy motor?

Did the brushes in my machine today all good I thought.... now the motor spins for about 2 seconds then stops then tries twice more in the cycle then stops altogether. No codes on the display. Could this be the overload relay ?? Any help would be gratefully received.
brushless motors are fine but the problem is. when the printed circuit board or the control board fails the machine is a total right off, making this totally uneconomically to maintain the machine because of the cost of a circuit board is usually more than the value of the machine. at least a set of carbon brushes only cost the customer £10 also
what part number are we talking about, please, the Electrolux one,s are over £100 trade! so with doing the job the customer would be paying £200 ive not even looked at the price of the Bosch ones lol
how-2-repair.com yeah, I went to an AEG last week and that was £170 for the board lol! I am mistaken though, to buy independently the beko board is around £100, the company I work for must get a huge discount as we pay less than £40 (for beko boards)
You shouldn't ditch a machine because of a pcb problem before examining the circuit. I've just repaired one that had a blown triac, the replacement acs108 triac cost £1,04p
Does anyone have Klixon 15AM213A thermal cut out relay for sale? 😁 I have searched all over the net I cannot find one place that would sell it to the individual.
that may be true on more modern machines Can you do us a favour and please share this video on your timeline Facebook twitter etc . This will help other people who can’t get engineers out to help them. th-cam.com/video/rFyGAHVFUW8/w-d-xo.html&t facebook.com/how.to.repair.appliances/

Hello from Greece. Bosch - 144797 Please which cables from this motor should I use to work at high speed? Thanks !!!!!!!!!!
If the motor turns but it makes a tapping noise by the brushes, any idea what this could be?
There is also a shortage smell with the engine.
very nice and understanding video. Thanks

mine does same, did you sort it out
can you tell me where to find
your video on stataplate overload relay
This is why I prefer inverter and brushless Motors now 😁😁😁

Yeah, see this a lot on the beko washers, however the inverter boards are only £30 usually so worthwhile to repair but very common

Washing machine motor tacho coil or tachometer coil
How to test
Siemens Front loaded machine wash motor over Amp
My Electrolux the mechanic service man told me it's AC motor , no carbon brush.
that may be true on more modern machines
