You have taken me back to April 1st 2001 which was a Sunday (happened to be a Sunday out day- I don't know whether those still exist any more), when I was in form one. The house monitor came to the form one block and told us that we have been summoned by the House Captains (Wambugu House) because we had not cleaned the house thoroughly. We scoffed and laughed it off as a "Fools Day" joke and ignored the summon.. Weh! Let me tell you Teacher! to cut a long story short, we went back to the house to be met by an irate house captain core who proceeded to descend upon us like Hitler descended upon Europe in the 1930's...We re-cleaned the house as we received the occasional slaps and kicks...but we did report them to the then headmaster after the fact...🤣🤣🤣
