This is the first time the Navigator looks better than the Escalade in my opinion. The Navigator looks more sophisticated and elegant than the Escalade. I take this Navigator over the Escalade any day, all day!!!!
Well done, it is elegant, stylish, and classy. It does not look like it has been tampered with in its design to make it scream and say “I am here” like the Escalade does.
The Lincoln is truly lovely inside and out, only the dash screen is too much like in the Escalade!. The Escalade does look more impressive and substantial!.. The front clip of the Navigator needs more presence!
Caddy all the way ,looks ,V8 and interior ! Nav is too busy and bling does not make class ! The seats are weird in the Nav big black plastic backs ,,wtf !
@craigroosa9321 I thought the same thing about the ugly plastic on the seats. The whole lincoln just looks unrefined and the design team just threw a bunch of crap together with no continuity.
Looks are subjective and everyone has their preference, but for me I like the exterior of the Caddy, and the interior of Lincoln. The Lincoln has a more pleasing and upscale design. It's almost like a modern interpretation of what American luxury used to be in its hey-day without being retro. Don't get me wrong, the Cadillac has nice materials, but the design is rather modern-day bland. Slapping a bunch of screens together and calling it a day on a vehicle that costs that much may be OK for some people, but I think the Escallade deserves a better interior. Something that doesn't look like the dash, door panels, and seats were all designed by different departments that didn't communicate with each other till it was too late. When you spend 100k or more, do you prefer an interior that looks like it was nicely crafted and well designed, or one that looks a little blah and possibly looks outdated before it's time. Again, opinions will vary, but I love Cadillacs old and new, and I want them to step up their game with every model when it comes to their interior design, especially when every other manufacturer has done it. If Jeep can put out a stunning interior, Cadillac definitely has no excuse.
Lincoln would have made a version with a V8 at least, there'd be a chance, because it's extremely good inside. And so far, the Cadillac looks interesting with a v8 engine.
@@alexandera3200 the twin turbo set up makes the lincoln faster than the regular escalade. You can feel that 500 plus lb ft tq. American cars are just starting to do the lower dispacement engines while mercedes has been doing this over the last 10 years. I wish the cadillac would remove the muscle car engine and replace it with a 4.4, 4.0, 0r 3.6 liter twin turbo set up. Even corvette is steering away from the 6.2.
@@adriansmith107 except that sales have shown that small liters aren't coveted. And the Escalade has a V8 with a compressor. But in general, such cars are taken not just to drive asses as in Mercedes, but also to pull trailers. And already different tests show that overheating and small liters have higher chances.
@@BruceDragon-sf1tr i didn't say Lincoln was bad, interior-wise I've always liked it better. But I would prefer an atmospheric engine for this class of car
In the spring of 2025, Lincoln will reveal the Hybrid version of the Navigator. Rumor has it going with 550 HP and close to 700 PFT. Said to travel 25 miles on batteries before the engine kicks in. Different interior and exterior look to set it apart from the other models. This thing will be sick.
A very good comparison, it shows, that Lincoln went away a bit from the Range Rover Design to battle Cadillac, for my opinion there is still not enough Lincoln design on it, and where is a real top model Continental Sedan?? 🏁 The Escalade is the benchmark in design in this field, yes, as another post said, the interior in the Cadillac could have even more refinement..🇺🇸🏁
I’m not a huge guy but at 6’3” I can’t fit in the back of the Escalade. The B pillar is always right in the way of my feet. I fly a lot for business and usually get picked up in either an Escalade, Navigator, the Cadillac sedan, or a Continental, and every time the Lincoln is noticeably more comfortable. It’s always a better ride, quieter, and has better quality fit and finish.
Why is it that you didn’t show or discuss the details on the different interior levels with its power massaging seats and especially the rear seat executive package in the Cadillac like you did on the Lincoln. You never mentioned the Escalade comes with 3 different engine choices. And you didn’t show the power opening and closing doors function but to your credit you did at least mention it in passing.
You didn't mention that the new navigator now has air ride option too. Although we don't know how it performs, but I'm pretty sure it will be a massive improvement over the previous jittery ride like you said.
I only have 2 questions. 1. Why didn’t you use the acceleration numbers from the more comparable standard 6.2 engine for the Escalade? 2. Why isn’t the Grand Wagoneer also in this comparison?
The big daddy caddy is confident and fresh. GM is mastering the screen dash game so far. That said there’s a lot to say about the Navigator’s quiet approach to luxury. I’ve always preferred that approach. The dash and overall look of the aviator and nautilus is pure perfection. I think Lincoln could’ve been a bit more creative with the Nav. As a Ford owner, for the first time I’m stumped between the Caddy and Lincoln.
Lincoln has ditched their old vintage luxury interior themes and are now chasing Cadillac’s tech forward interiors around except they aren’t executing the style as nearly as well. Navigator’s interior looks a mess compared to the Cadillac.
I get a discount on both, so it's a win-win for me! Shout out to all my Family & Freinds who's building the Caddy in the D! I myself with others build the Navigator in Kentucky! I gotta say that Caddy is nice but I gotta roll with what I build.
The Navigator looks more modern and has a classy and quiet finish, unlike the Escalade, which screams to be seen. The Escalade is expensive in its exterior and interior appearance, desired by those who feel like they are in their late teens. In addition, the Navigator is like a luxurious royal yacht, and it is more comfortable and quieter than the Escalade. Ford puts a lot of effort into its luxury brand, Lincoln. I am not a Ford fanatic. If the Cadillac was better, I would say so without a doubt. This is how I feel.
Totally Navigator. Love it's styling. Smooth beautiful lines. Great overall look. Plus the engine is quick and better gas mileage than the Escalade. The Escalade is upright and boxy with that horrible blue whale front end.
They both are just Souped up Expeditions 🤯🤫 From the paint to the seats to the electronics = all under $15,000. The engine (twin turbo V8)$6,500 or (6.2L V8)up to $22,000. Still don't add up to $155,000...ijs👨💻👨💼
