I was taught to look both ways even if the road is one way as a kid. You never know when someone might decide to break the law and drive the wrong way. I’ve heard multiple stories from family members accidentally driving the wrong way on one way roads before so it’s not that out there.
I laughed so hard when Kevin started flinging newspapers at everyone. My cat has been missing for days and I've been so depressed. I needed cheering up. Thank you, Kevin.

Kaito isn’t from the Road 96 main game but from Lost in Harmony, a 2016 game from the same developpers. It’s a beautiful rhythm game where we find him and Aya (her friend from the first level of Mile 0 under the form of a ghost) escaping reality and her sickness by dreaming together of a long journey with electro-classical music. One of the greatest games I’ve ever played and proud of the references of Lost In Harmony in this new game!

A whole hour of Kevin playing Road 96 prequel? This is gonna be so much fun
The very opening of this game reminded me of Lost in Harmony so badly. It’s been ages since I’ve played that game but it was a free mobile game a bit like subway surfer but also a rhythm game with this guy who looks very similar to the one in the cutscene on a skateboard through different environments. One of the images even has the girl from the game with red vines around her with him going towards her
I have just found out that Road 96 is actually by the same developer and that I’d forgotten that the character in that game was actually Kaito so therefore the same character and the girl in the game was Aya who is mentioned in this game. Nice Easter egg and explains so much. Need to go back and replay the game now 😂😂

This franchise goes much harder than I thought
The game is a mix of Road 96 and their first game Lost In Harmony. A lot of people didn’t understand that, and I hope it offers a bit of clarity for why the game is like this!

Played this game over the weekend and 100% it after seeing you play it and I rarely agree with someone saying "insert game is a masterpiece" but the story was absolutely enjoyable and worth experiencing. Thank you for taking us down to road 96.

I've been waiting for the main game and never expected a prequel. This was excellent but I'm worried that Kaito was the first character you played because I feel like we would have seen him with the Brigades. I wasn't exactly a Zoe fan before and a little less now. Still so many questions. Looking forward to seeing more.

This game is an absolute fever dream but such a breath of fresh air, I love how they did something totally unique and creative. With so much copy paste, underdeveloped content from AAA games nowadays, it's so nice to see unique games like this. We should definitely try and support devs who go outside the box like this.

In fact you probably should play a new game plus to get all the character events, they all have understandable motives, even the crazy taxi driver, and it was really interesting how certain characters related to one another

I love playing this game as Zoe, partially because Kaito is very fucking annoying, but partially because there's something so cathartic about playing as a character who's been hurt, and is now dedicating their life to doing whatever it takes to absolutely tear the person who hurt them to shreds in every way possible
