idk why they started to mimic win11, deepin had rounded corners and beautiful environment and icons long before windows started implementing those nice curves. I'm a big fan of deepin. awesome distro.
Im having many problems to boot with AMD Radeon and x11 controller graphics. Have the message “end kernel panic” I don’t know how to resolve definitely
it's not a bad distro but I found one MAJOR flaw. If you try to set up a duel monitor, the moment you go into one screen it immediately goes BLACK and there is not way to back out of it other than to completely reinstall. Looking for info on line and finding nothing. Sent them a request for assistance and as of yet have not heard anything. Kind of sucks but I'll keep playing ....
FOSS and the Chinese authoritarian system are fundamentally opposed to each other. And yes, any company based in China is under that system. I appreciate the view of the distro, and it could be the most charming distro available, but there's no way that I would install it.
@@lundgamingxd5387 It is literally made by a company in China. And as the video explains, there are elements in the distro that sound like tracking software. It's a better use of my time to reject it categorically, rather than attempting to find out what spying it may be doing.
@@gregcampwriter Do you really think that the Chinese cares about back-dooring US citizens more than are own Government does already and big Corporations as a whole? They are all data mining us and to be honest I think we have more to fear from are own Government spying on us and big businesses like Meta then the threat China poses for an operating system they made. Besides, I bet you own a cell phone that tracks everything you do and more. With zero day exploits like Pegasus Spyware used by Governments around the World is substantially a greater risk to our sovereignty and if you are not actively using TOR then bet your bottom dollar that your being monitored by someone and not even God knows to what extent this type of intrusion presents to us as peoples and as citizens with rights. Either you live completely off grid with no exceptions or accept the fact that there is nothing you can do about it. Thus is life now. Your privacy died with the new era. But hey, believe what you want and don't use Deepin OS then and continue to be played by whatever OS you believe to be safer though it is arguably the same. Telemetry is everywhere.

Been looking to get into Linux. But Windows has ruined me. I game to much and the office suite is a must.
