    I am not a farmer, but I really enjoy your videos. My grandfather was a farmer in central Georgia for over 50 years. You do a great job in showing the challenges farmer face in delivering food for our country. Keep up the good work...

    What size header are y’all running on the 9400 I just got a 9400 and I’m looking for a header, I found a 922 but wondering if it’s to much for the machine?

    • @DylanJoyceFarms
      @DylanJoyceFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We have been running a 922 auger header for years. We have recently bought a 25-foot draper header, and it did great cutting wheat.

    You ever used those filler plates on the bars? Probably not since they are out. I hear they help on corn.

    • @DylanJoyceFarms
      @DylanJoyceFarms  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't use them anymore. They help it some in corn, but it's not worth the trouble it takes to put them in.

    • @dustin656
      @dustin656 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you get some ground corn without them? 6600 running slow and I get some ground kernels just wondered if it would fix it.@@DylanJoyceFarms

    • @DylanJoyceFarms
      @DylanJoyceFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @dustin656 in my experience, if you are grinding, it's because the cylinder speed is too fast. I always set my cylinder speed on 300 and use the concave clearance to adjust threshing. I had a 6620, but it's been so long since I've run it that I can't remember the settings. I do know that the cylinder speed had to be run faster on it than this maximizer combine.
