    100% the reason why I have myself assigned as a student to each of my Google classrooms. When I’m demonstrating something for the students, I use the student one that I have so they can see exactly what their view should show. Game changer during virtual teaching last year!

    Now I know why students would say that no files were attached! I wish that this video had been made way before schools closed back in 2020, but I still appreciate the tips and the step by step approach.

    I love your tech tips videos! It is so important that teachers understand the difference between what they see and what the students see! These tips are perfect for any teacher whether they have multiple years of experience, or they are just starting their teacher career! This is getting shared with my teacher friends immediately!

    This is so helpful!! I've found out the hard way that the views are different, but I've never gotten a clear explanation of everything in such a concise way! Thank you! I've also shared this with my school!

    You explained the teacher vs student view in google classroom really well!! Sometimes it's so easy to forget that what they see is different from our view especially depending on their device and wether it's desktop or mobile view. Thanks for the great overview!

    Can you do a part 2? Where you explain how to do a google form and how to assign it on google classroom. This video was a good refresher now that teachers are getting ready to start the year.

    Google classroom always seemed confusing to me as a student in high school, for some reason using blackboard and canvas through my school that I do college online is a whole lot easier for me. Hope this year turns out better with your format than the previous year!

    This was great! So much detail! Much appreciated. I have to make training videos for my staff. What are you using to make your video as you share your computer screen?. Can you create a video on how to share my screen as I teach?

    • @amandajacobs57
      @amandajacobs57 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you use screencastify (which is a Google extension) you can choose the desktop view where people can see your screen and you can even add your Webcam so as they are watching you move around on the computer screen they can also see a little rectangle of your face in the corner. It's helped so much as a math teacher because I can draw my notes on the screen an the students can follow along, but they can also see my face so it's more personal 😊 I hope this helps!
