But I believe the biggest reason why things are going so great - aside from Shanahan's offensive genius - is the fact that he and Lynch are working TOGETHER.. A HC and GM have got to have a healthy relationship, and it has become quite clear that Shanny and Lynch are operating on the same page..

I want to make sure we give Kuechly credit. On that TD sweep to Deebo, I think he correctly keyed on the pulling guard #75 and very nearly made it to the gap on time. I know he didn't make the play, but it's a little much to say he was fooled by the play design as hard as you say he was
I’m not too worried about any specific team . My main concern is our linebackers. I read since week 4 were 31st in rushing yards per attempt allowed!!! Now with the Kwon injury this could be our Achilles heel.

I think the bad play to set up the good play is more Kyle wants to see how the defense adjust from series to series. and depending on what defenses commit to he has no problem exposing that. then as they make adjustments again he can switch it up. I guess the set up part could be to get them to key certain things too. either way there is probably multiple reasons he calls certain plays
Hey, Shannahan had this play installed against the Steelers. It was never handed off as it was one of the 49ers many fumbles that week. Garappolo mishandled the snap in the redzone. Deebo was coming under for the wingback counter
Thanks for the excellent breakdown. Agree the game plan against the Panthers was excellent on both sides of the ball. Kingsbury and Joseph did a pretty good job against us. We should do better in the second meeting. 49ers defense was tired from the Panthers game and made multiple mental errors against the Cardinals offense. Those will get corrected and the team will be better as a result.
@@AlexRollinsNFL Given some success, it's easy to overlook that 49ers are a very young team that's still learning and improving. Good teams learn from their mistakes, and we're doing that. It has found many different ways to win and is still trying to put together complete games consistently. The upside is very high when all three phases (including passing game) get working consistently. So far it has not been consistent enough. We have excellent coaching and talent and will get there.
If the niners at all lose this season please make a video how that team beat the niners!! It would be interesting to see how they got beat with this defensive line up
