the sport aspect of it turned Kajagoogoo more into a prog-rock band which I actually liked - without Limahl, some more of the amazing musicianship of the members was able to reach the surface. Too bad audiences seem to prefer glossy pop star "Limahl" surfaces :D
Man... thanks so much for this.. I got f***ing misty-eyed when Nick and Limahl embraced, and also just seeing them all so united for the music itself, leaving all the ugliness behind, and seeing Limahl interact with the other bandmembers.. and to see Nick sing a verse of Limahl's solo song........ this was all an act of humility for them, and I appreciate it so very, very much. Thank you, Kajagoogoo, for swallowing individual pride, for letting bygones be bygones, and doing this for the people who have never forgotten, and who still love each of you, and who will continue to hold you in high esteem, especially after this event.
Audio not too great but love seeing these guys back together doing each others songs. Limahl singing with Nicks Kaja band song after Limahl had left Kajagoogoo.
They're not together; Limahl is solo, Nick plays with various bands, and Steve I saw last week with ️Steve winch, and spent few hours with him as I'd never met him before; great guy. Jez has his business in London, and Stuart lives in Belfast x
@@gwendolinegovin5510 Well.. You take Limhall and i take Nick😄. I like Nick. He's full of joy,he's awesome,he's a good musician. And dresses as he wants without caring about others.😁 Big Nick!
You know what? Today, you are right! I am a bigger fan of Limahl's voice from Kajagoogoo and his solo stuff from the '80s.. but for some reason Limahl lost some kind of quality that he had before, and he sounded a lot different in 1992, even, when he did his "Too Shy '92" recording. I liked that, but I could hear something 'wrong' in his voice. And he's never sounded the same since "Color All My Days." Nick Beggs, on the other hand, still sounds EXACTLY as he did back in the early-to-mid 80s. :-) Again, I don't know why or how each of these examples sound as they do today, but I'm going on record as saying that Limahl sounds NOTHING like he did in the `80s, but Nick Beggs still sounds exactly as he did then. And I liked Limahl's voice better back then, by the way. Mostly because I can still emulate his voice pretty well.... lol.. But they are both truly great.
@@WarriorWeek87 Ya know, you Are right about Limahl's voice having changed, but man, as I've gotten older, I also love Limahl's "older" voice just as much. I love feeling like I'm in my late 20s when I watch them in 1983 on youtube, and on this one, I love knowing they all aged SO BEAUTIFULLY and performed again decades later as a still-great band with the now VERY sultry lead singer that Limahl turned into! (And, I love rockin' to them now that I'm 63!) ...As I'm listening more right now, Limahl sounds rather David Bowie-ish to me, only better!
What? Nick destroyed the band, they could have been huge. He wanted it all, bass, vocals, boss of the band. Limahl was essencial to them, it did work and Too Shy was the proof.
Nick is also a very good vocalist! His and Limahl's voice blend marvellously.
Nick Beggs has always been a quality Bass player, to sing and slap at the same time is mighty difficult !!
Yes indeed!

@@theWARMJET ... exactly right ... as what the saying goes,"why fix it when it's not broken" ....

This was almost 10 YEARS AGO. Damn, time is flying before our eyes...
Always thought shouldn't do that was a great lost song
I agree - great song!
Nick is a monster on bass and singing, Limahl's voice is a breeze on a beach at the sunset
Truly excellent summary 👌
Kajagoogoo should come back and release some duets, Nick & Limahl.
Great stuff. Singer looks like a painter and decorator who's just wandered onto the stage.
HAHAhahahaaa!!! I LOVE Limahl!
Yes... Limahl needs styling here... he used to be a glitzy popstar.
I'm glad to hear they still play this song live!

His voice didn't change over time
OMG...I hate myself for not being there. Kajagoogoo forever!
Argentina loves Kajagoogoo!
1:52 so cute ✨
Wow, what a wonderful mix of voices.
..Shouldn't do that, shouldn't do that now baby.. uhh! ☝️ uhh!☝️ uhh!☝️! Love it.
Nick dresses skirts better than me!😄😄😄
Wish they performed islands
Beggs on vocals didnt cut it , sorry mate

Alcoolico????
Limahl is not an alcoholic, Limahl doesn’t like to drink. Limahl is still so good looking 😊😊😊
Ma quanto è attraente Nick 💞
Molto! Caspita!

A któż tak fatalnie nagrywał? Skoro Limahl śpiewa tiojego trzeba pokazywać.
What about the songs Limahl didn't sing? I like those better.
Nick Beggs sang Shouldn't Do That (1985). That was from two albums after Limahl was let go.
@@sebastianmartinez4504 the question was why Limahl didn't sing his songs, not why he didn't sing Kajagoogoo's songs.
Limahl sang his songs. It's not in this video
Nick has the best voice than Limahl, inmaculate, never change
