I have 4 pairs of reiissue GV.. a couple are early 2000's reissues and need a little gluing! :) The Puma GV has a special place in my heart because I remember with much love the pair I had when I was 15 years old in 1984 I think.. My early 2000's super suedes are my fave Pumas.. wish they would do those again with no changes.. big fat laces b-boy Beat Street style.. big fat puffy tongue and ankle support (I think because they were intended for skateboarding as a rival for Nike SB)...
Can’t believe nobody in the trainer market has ever asked Puma to reissue the jopper or match, sitting on a goldmine if you can get those re-made,what I don’t like about 99 % of the re-issues is the shape and angle of the Puma stripes, and the yellowish hue of the mid soles now replaced by bright white, like the trimm trab remodels of recent times, seems all wrong, not as streamlined as the original stuff that was made in the old west Germany, which played a big part in how they looked on foot.
I had the Puma GV in 1984 Neil..my first casual trainer. Cracking shoe and great days
Great trainer
Puma Dallas, navy/Argentina blue. Takes me back to brilliant times for proper trainers/ gear.
