He'd give you some of the best long passing shots I've seen tho. Strangely he didn't seem to have much of an ego and you can tell he's still a modest guy who doesn't forget where he came from. He could be an ambassador for whatever cause he felt like and he'd succeed. He's a natural.

As a Liverpool supporter I'll admit I had a massive disliking for Beckham being such a prominet figure in the history of Manchester United. However, looking back it's hard to deny how influential and how good of a player he was. Probably the best freekick taker ever and that's saying a lot. His influence still shines through in the modern game with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold admitting he studies Beckham clips to try and master his setpiece technique.
