CHINATOWN DOESN'T NEED A STADIUM.
MY ENTIRE LIFE OF BEING A PHILADELPHIAN , I HAVE KNOWN CHINATOWN TO BE THEE MOST MOST PEACEFUL AND TRANQUIL PART OF OUR CITY. MORE JOBS MAY BE NEEDED BUT TO BLATANTLY UPROOT THE PEACE THAT THEY HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO ESTABLISH AND CULTIVATE WOULD BE SIMPLY CRUEL. YOU WANNA BUILD ANOTHER STADIUM USE ALL THAT EMPTY SPACE ON THE LOWER BLOCKS OF SPRING GARDEN SO THAT THE BLACK COMMUNITIES HAVE BETTER AND GUARANTEED JOB SECURITY. BUILD IN REGIONS THAT ARE MORE IMPOVERISHED AND IN NEED OF STABILITY. BUILD WERE ITS ACTUALLY WORTH BUILDING BETTER COMMUNITY.

They are promising more jobs for now, but those jobs will be gone once the stadium is built. Sixers only have 46 games per year, and the remaining 319 days/yr will only attract homeless to the area.

In the past Philly would tear down the old arena to build a new one. Leave Chinatown alone. There has to be a better way.
