- I don't know what it is, but the I am obsessed with baby animals! I had the best time making an animal cake series last year, and decided to continue it with this baby penguin cake!

It definitely requires more frosting this way, but is a much easier process :) carving cakes still scares me!!! every time I have to do it, it makes me anxious!!

My daughter wants a penguin cake.... if i made this it would come out as swamp thing.

I haven't! I did make a super bowl cake once though, which looks like a football field.
I usually just swap out the vanilla extract for almond extract in my classic vanilla layer cake recipe when making an almond cake :)

What size cut outs are the round white cut outs,? I know the first 3 layers are 7 inch then a 6 inch then you used a cut out, what size is this please?

Hey! Does anyone know how I can stiffen up store-bought Frosting?!! I add a stick of soft butter to each container and it deff makes it easier to smooth edges but any other tips?
usually if I want to stiffen up my buttercream I add more powdered sugar! I'd recommend trying to make it from scratch though, it's way easier to control the consistency and taste that way
