I apologize for the criticism, but number 1 should be to research your states cottage food laws (if you reside in the US). There are MANY people who are unaware that there are rules/guidelines that need to be followed when selling food from home. It can't be assumed that if people are interested in selling food, that they have already done their research as to how to do it legally.

Then sell throughout the week based on what you had, or did you bake based on what orders came in? :)
I had that happen before... I told her I finally I’ll love to make her cake but had to charge because I was raising money to but a new comercial stand up mixer. She was happy to do so, and now we treat business as business. It’s hard to break the ice, but it’s important.
