It has the largest roster of any musuo game I'm history, I've put more hours into this gem than every other musuo game combined, definitely an underrated powerhouse with a massive 177 character roster
I really wish they included the characters from Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce 2. I want to see Yu Muiren, Xi Wang Mu, king Mu and many more from that series. I feel like Koei didn't do justice for those characters.

I really like they’re human version of Gaia. Instead of being a titan she summons parts of the titan version of herself. Also having some earth manipulation powers, it’s so so cool!
oh nice i thoguh REAL perseus was gonna be just a renamed clone of loki. good to see that he has diffrent charge moves , magic and musou. combo strings may even be diffrent i didnt play much loki but i remember alot of the charge attacks and the flashy musou of loki

the only thing weird about Joan of Arc being in a Warriors game that has both the warriors from three kingdoms China and feudal era Japan is that she's a third wheel character being one of the only characters that were in wars long after three Kingdoms China and feudal Japan and with all of those legendary warriors in one place her reputation as the Maiden of Orleans may seem small in comparison.

When i heard Gaia's song like Statice, it makes me wanna hear again sometimes. Gee, her voice is beautiful and pretty cute as Aoi Yuuki's Nodoka from Healin Good Pretty Cure.
kinda disappointed I only wanted the ultimate expansion for the returning character's and when I saw joan of arc and ryu I nearly bought instantly but then after a bit of research I realized there's no ayane, kasumi or Rachel I was sitting on the fence and now that I have seen joan of arc's move set (one of my fav's) I am very reluctant as they where very similar but her charge 4 5 and 6 seemed to nerfed although they did give her poseiden which I think is the most strongest magic item
tannermilo my thoughts exactly there are so many characters they could have included or at least you’d think they’d include everyone added in WO3U excluding sophitia. They could have included some of the people from all stars Nioh, Toukiden, and more why just 3

When you get the Ultimate version (comes out next month), EVERYTHING will be carried over. Yes DLCs as well. Once you get Ultimate, it should ask you about your saved data and other stuff. Make sure it is transferred over.
I've always said if omega force and square Enix tagged team a final fantasy warriors game it would be epic, especially if they used a final fantasy graphics engine, even if they only included the playable party members from each mainline game, that's still over 100 characters

Yea I already started showing some WO4U vids. It's alright. New Ultimate story, some features from WO3U are back like promotion, and Infinite mode. There are a few stages that are long.
Athena can do too, all you need with her is do Normal Normal Charge, then as the petrification ray activates, you press the buttons that let you move lft or right, the ray turns anyone it touches to stone, then you press charge yo frisbee throw aegis, and boom hundreds of rocks slaughtering the rest as a wave. Also the direction in which you do the frisbee throw defines the direction of the wave.

@@jadentran9895 but with athena you can swipe entire battlefields, i barely remember the game now as the comment was made a year ago, but on of her combos sent like a laser which when activated you could change the direction off with A and D so if you hit the group in front of you, then hit charge which turned her shield into basically a fidget spinner, it shatter the petrified enemies into thousands of bullet like rocks that went as far as you could render, in other words. With that one combo i think Athena is superior to even Gaia. Gaia has some walking sweeping. But Athena if you did the combo and steered the laser, could send thousands of enemies flying only for the player to then turn around and go for another group of 500-1000 people. If Warriors Orochi 4 would get an Empires game and be the first of warriors Orochi game to do so, i think Athena's moveset would be more overpowered than Gaia's. Basically Athena of Warriors Orochi 4 in my opinion is Zuo Ci of Dynasty Warriros 8 Empires. A glass cannon, stronger than Lu Bu in DMG but weaker in Defense and HP.

Appeal would be my guess. As I watched, i was thinking how cute Gaia was with her lil pink hair and all....then it made me realize the broad was a Titan. When I imagine Gaia, I just think of how she was in god of war 3....and being in human form with pink hair is far from that. So, it's all about appeal and fan service I would think.
Most of us have some form of preexisting notion of how these characters are due to them being in some form of media before. So seeing them with such a different depiction is jarring.
If you are talking about the upgrade pack for the Ultimate version, then no. WO4U physical copy is good enough. If you have WO4 itself, THEN you will need to buy the upgrade version (WO4U).

I'm noticing while you're showing off the character attacks the enemy has gathered around you and.....is just standing there looking pretty. I really hope it's not like that, I wouldn't want the game to be so easy enemies don't bother attacking. This will be my first warriors oroochi game, so I'm not sure how they mechanics are.
I used the training room, when I did the video. In the training mode, they will stand around and you can try out characters and other mechanics as well. Don't worry the game won't be like that, especially harder difficulties.
I player warrior orochi but the third one . I reccomend to play the third (the basic) im not play warrior orochi anymore because my Xbox 360 Is Broken .
If you mean moveset wise, then their charge, musou , and unique magic attacks are different. If you mean character wise, they are not the same person. Loki was the fake Perseus in the vanilla version.
dude, this game has enough playable characters to make a challenge mode where you fight ALL playable characters in one stage rampage style. Think about it.
Frankly with the new characters being based off mythical/historical figures not based in Chinese/Japanese folklore, Koei-Tecmo could've just made a new Warriors-esque game using them...or better yet try and get the rights to the Fate series instead and make a game for that

Ryu seems totally busted with that revamped moveset. Now koei need to do that to every character for whatever the next warriors orochi is
