Well, the story of this title isn’t the best, but still, the game is pretty fun to play. Theses games serves as Koei’s main musou titles in a crossover, the mechanics of sacred treasures are cool. But honestly, I thought the game could’ve used more deified version of the classical characters. I mean, why not introduce deified forms for warriors such as Tadakatsu Honda or Keiji Maeda, or warlords like Cao Cao and Sun Jian? At least my favorites characters got some deified forms.

But that day probably won't arrive until well after the new "Dynasty Warriors Origins" game. ^ To this day, I'm still hoping for new guest/collaboration characters. It'd be especially nice to see Soul Calibur again.
The amount of characters that have deifications upsets me. Why only a few? What about Cao Cao, Sun Jian, Zhu Rong, Sun Ce, Dian Wei? What about Keiji, Tadakatsu, Musashi, Yoshihiro, Munishige and others? Its just unfair and/or lazy.
I also surpirised that wu and jin have no officer in deification at all. I remember lu xun and zhu ran are the first who found that bracelet and yet none of them are deified?
@@GReyn koei almost want to give lu xun a deification mode, but they reject it because he is not a warrior who goes to frontline, which is a total bullshit since mitsunari also have one. (I assume the producer hates Wu). For me, wang yuanji also deserve this deification mode since she is popular in Jin (alongside Zhong Hui)

WO 3 and WOU is already perfect ending,with character get send back to their OG timeline with their memory still intact so they're most likely won't kill each other after all shit they went through together,then come this game not only they retcone better ending,remove all DW/SW character development but they also erase memory of the humans so this event is bassically pointless
This game sucked. WOU3U was Koei's peak. You can feel their heart and soul into those games. They realyl shoulda stuck to the Japanese/Chinese mythology instead of the Greek and Norse gods
I do like the flow of combat in this game. It's just disappointed that the game has the potential to be the best musou game but turns out to be just a damage control for the disaster of DW9.

Love the tadakatsu vs lu bu and yukimura vs zhao yun
wo3 cutscenes more better . The gameplay was good and enjoyable. But this are less cutscenes. Lack of something sidestory event.

DW9 came before WO4 as a tryout for open-world.
It's because of DW9 failure devs went back to the original formula.
The ending is repeted 3 times ... slight diffrence only ..

There no encouters in battle like when you use zhao yun defeating an enemy and yukimura will said Master Zhao Yun very impressive
