Dinasty warriors 8 xtreme legend complete edition will remain the best so far except olders dinasty warrios games because older they are beter and can't put in category with dinasty warriors 9 because will bring shame.

In me experience of gaming for 26 years the best dinasty wariors what i replayed or new played at they time is:
Dinasty Warriors 4 Hyper Pc, Dinasty Warriors 4 PSP or emulator PPSSPP, Dinasty Warriors 4 empire PS2. Dinasty Warriors Volume 2 PSP or emulator PPSSPP, Dinasty Warriors 6 psp on japonese languge because pc have less content that psp one. On psp have story of: Yue Ying, Taishi Ci, Cao Pi, Zhang He and Ling tong in musou mode. Also have new maps. Dinasty warriors 8 Xtreme Legend Complete Edition and finaly Dinasty Warriors 8 empire. Those games are the best on me opinion so far.

omg at 9:30 Zhu Rong's voice actor clearly accidentally said "Goddess of Fire" but the audio team clearly kept the take just just tried to cut "-dess" out of the audio, so it says "God" correctly... but you can OBVIOUSLY tell the audio was cut! It stutters really bad! It must have been a mistake that was caught after the recording session and there was nothing else they could do... I hope.

I've been trying to reserve judgement til I play the game. But the quality of the majority of these voices is just pissing me off now. Can't believe I am considering Japanese or Chinese over my native language.
Played 20 hours of it and it's actually decent once you get head around the new actors NOT trying to sound like old ones so a lot are very different sounding to what your used to.
I couldn't stand some of the voices of the characters so I decided to switch to Japanese so I wouldn't blame you. It sounds so much better than English which disappoints me because I want to hear what they say without having to read everything. The rest of the game is really solid and although I have thoughts about how they could've made it a little better it still is great and a great new addition to the series.

I'm sorry, but compared to DW7/DW8, the english voice acting in DW9 is outright terrible. There are several lines that have pauses and the cast in general sound less dynamic that it is pretty damn sad. I was looking forward to the old english cast again, not this kind of voice work. :(

The old cast your seeing on everything from the latest Gears of War to Overwatch, things got too expensive with a game now with over 90 character I guess (times 3 as they did JPN and CH dubs too)
I’m pretty sure the studio with the old voice actors went on strike so they physically couldn’t get them back, I think these voices are ok but it’s gonna take time as I miss the old Voices too but we’ve been hearing them since DW6 and this sudden change is shocking

I personally dont mind new actors, yet, there is a stablished persona for each character and attittude you have to give your voice(I have personally met a lot of experienced voice actors), and that is what I feel they didnt do with this voices, they feel flat and unrelated to the characters

Gotta say, I didn't mind the English dubs in previous games I mean they always were a little grating at times... but Holy Fuck they dropped the ball this time, it's all just so painful to listen too. (That said, when I heard that you'd get to choose Chinese for the voices I was already certain on which choice I was going to make)
This is what I'm saying, man, holy shit did they fuck up the English voices. It's so bad that I think it makes DW 3 English voices sound good. At least there's Chinese dub this time. At least that'll make it feel like an authentic experience.
