the difference between my new isx3300 and the Kubota zg127s that i have mowed with for 12 years is two ibuprofen and a spare 30-45 minutes of life back.
I noticed how wide the chute is getting the grass out of there, I opened mine 4 in. And couldn't believe the difference may open it some more , it really helps the motor especially in tall grass and I have an Airens yard tractor 22 horse 11 years old still runs like a Stud.
I have the 72 inch cut ISX 3300 and will never use anything but Ferris on my 7 acres I would love to own the Ferris IS 6200 48 cut that is the one with the cat diesel
Well by the looks of it, it looked like you preferred the Ferris over the Scag? Why? I'm a Ferris guy and have a Z3X and a Z2 and I've compared them to the Scag Vride 2 and both are great mowers but just something about that ride on a Ferris mower and cut quality it just does it for me!
If I’m mowing a exceptionally nice lawn, that’s relatively smooth I’ll jump on the cheetah. For everything else I go for the comfort of the Ferris. Nothing compares to the ride quality of the Ferris!
it you put different blades on the ferris it will outperform the scag what ferris is this? what's your go to mower? 28 vanguard sounds underpowered on the 61 needs that fx 801
I’ve found the best blade setup for the Ferris is 2 stock blades and one highlift or gator on the discharge side. The 28hp Briggs might be slightly underpowered for the really tall stuff, but that’s comparing to the 37hp efi on the Scag which isn’t underpowered at all. For your normal weekly cuts the 28hp does just fine....Simply because most of the lawns we do are larger and very rough I find myself jumping on the Ferris more often.
your right but stens and another makes a 3 inch wide high lift blade I've tried alot of blades and that blade in middle and discharge side does the beat no deck cleaning try them blades they are a scag blade but they really suxk the grass up and out

Isn’t that the truth.

Got a ferris coil overs and air ride seat, its like driving a car, smooth
Cut to the outside that way you don't recut the grass clipping from the last cut,and your mower does not have to work as hard .
Nice Video.
Scag/Deere have the best cutting 61" on the market while the 72" Ferris is tops.
Thanks. I really like the way the Scag cuts.
I think toro has a lot better cut then John Deere

It helps if you don’t throw the clippings in the grass your about to cut.
Sure does. Thanks for watching

Ride quality makes up for almost anything I don’t like about the mower!
Does the Ferris suspension really make a difference?
Yes! Like no other mower on the market that I'm aware of
Stihl released a zero turn with a similar suspension but people claim it's a ferris painted a different color
@rw458 stihl zt is made by ferris, that suspension is heavily protected and patented.
which one do you like best?

@@batterpm11 I run a 61" Ferris 3300, and you're absolutely right, nothing compares to the ride quality of a Ferris!

Yeah- something that tall, you should bullseye, not stripe
Usually do on this one. Thanks for watching!
